I liked The Munsters more as a kid.

I think I like the Addams Family more now.

I liked the Munsters for Lilly but I think the Addams family had better writers and scripts & Uncle Fester.

I went to a city wide Halloween party in Reno dressed as Uncle Fester about 10 years ago.
The main st in front of the casinos had speakers set up and you danced Micheal Jackson’s thriller down the entire main drag under the sign.
That was fun as hell and plenty of booze was distributed.

The Addams Family was the best. Morticia was hot and they were old money, leisure class vs the Munster's blue collar suburbia.

Addams family was more nuanced with the jokes and humor. Munsters was more campy and slap stick type humor. I enjoyed them both. Addams Family holds up better.

I do still catch them both once in a while. Addams family will get a laugh, Munsters is more nostalgia

I was a munsters fan as a little kid, as it was a more fun show to watch as a kid...

I never liked the Adams Family...Just never could get into it...

Now, all I watch is cartoons...

Different demographics.
Munsters. = Younger
Adams= Adult

Both were good in their own way. Munsters mixed in a good looking family member and cool cars to bring the bar up. Adam's family was based on an adult cartoon.

I liked The Addams Family, the humor was more subtle than The Munsters.

Although Uncle Fester's "I'll shoot 'em in the back!" still cracks me up.

Toss up.
Munsters had a better theme song.
Eddie Munster creeped me out.
Herman was a goof while Gomez was more sophisticated with the double breasted suits.
Lurch was a hoot.
Grandpa was funnier than Fester (debatable I realize)
I preferred Mortician to Lily.

I liked them both when they first came out (I was just starting fourth grade, September 1964). The Addams Family was in my estimation the better of the two. My opinion hasn't changed since then.
