I was looking for a blue venue, but no one had them in the whole state, and one sales guy says to me "I can get you green, do you like the green?" Innocent me says "I didn't know there was a green" He turned the computer and showed me that fuckery and I just stared at him - because who the fuck does that. |

Quoted: Not all grey is made the same. Plenty of shades of grey that are timeless rather than trendy. Furthermore, it also depends greatly with how you handle trim and floors. I think this look with the trim and floors all in consideration is generally pretty timeless: https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/178958/Capture_JPG-2247418.JPG I think it gets a bit out of control when people carry it to the cabinets and floors at the same time to the point that the entire house is monotone or when they don't get the shade of grey right (too dark or too cold). This is very close to my interior. Except I don't have quarter-round at the base of my trim, fuck that. When we redid the floors we redid the trim. About to start casing windows. There will not be a lack of carpentry in this house |

I think it looks great, so much of what I have is grey.
That house is really beautiful looking inside and out. |
|
So...be the change you seek...
Paint everything your favorite color... Like lime green and chrome? Paint the house lime green, and do the trim in chrome and have a matching tool box, truck, bike, etc. Go ham. |

If you buy that white you might not be the style but you’ll never be out of style. Lol.

So I shouldn't have painted my bedrooms gray with bright white trim? damn..... Guess I'll have to go back to beige.....

|
OP, Piss yellow and milky diluted piss-yellow vinyl siding need to go first. Grays aren't that bad, all the reference photos you displayed are actually decent.

I'm kinda "meh" on the gray. I think home fashion trends are silly. They are, after all, what got us the avocado and harvest gold of the seventies. The silly people now are discarding all their burnt bronze to buy the gray. I will laugh a haughty laugh when brass comes back in style as I will already be there.
