Really?  It was a thing in NorCal in the 80's.  Datsun trucks, too.  Everybody wanted their little Japanese 4X4 to look like a "Stomper", and Smittybuilt did a ton of business.  Hell...I think I have a set in my shop now for an '86 still.

Holy Crap I forgot out the Tango and Cash truck!  
Pretty sweet shooting in the opening with a j-frame.

The Chevy 454 SS wasn’t ever in a movie or tv show but it should’ve. Chevy misses the boat by not promoting that truck. One of my favorite vehicles of all time.
