Saying a song is the reason that people do drugs is the same logic train that says I should be a mass shooter because I played violent video games.
I don't think it's as simple as that just a song. It may be a contributing factor, but it's not the sole reason. |

I’d say it’s because they’ve made weed legal as well as heroin. They’ve been lax on drugs and drug crime for a really long time. It’s part of their, “If we allow them to get high it will be easier to disarm them” campaign.
Fucking tweakers. |

That’s like saying I should be an alcoholic because I like watching the Budweiser Super Bowl ads and I should be a heroin junkie because I like The Rolling Stones and Aerosmith
I should also be smoking a metric fuckton of weed because I listen to Dr. Dre and Snoop Dog. |

Quoted: Yep, that's the reason View Quote One reason of many, general attitude of " live your best life ", " do whatever feels good" and general loss of morality and socitial norms that glue society together. People dont like to admit that certain restrictive rules on behavior, and public shaming goes far towards keeping society functioning. Movies, songs, social media posts, lax laws etc goes a long way towards normalizing drug use and making people feel its perfectly normal, fun, and safe to use street drugs, which its absolutely not. |

I should be a raging druggie because I always liked "The Pusher Man" by Steppenwolf.
It just screamed the 60's, and the guitar is pretty cool. It also had lyrics that I could understand as a kid. |

Yeah, I don't think the song glorifies it so much as it talks about becoming broken and losing everything to addiction...

Yep.
Cause and effect. I listened to that and turned into a green ogre. I now live in a swamp with my donkey. |

The 90's were all about doing drugs. If you didn't do any that is on you.

Kind of "glorifying" drug use in songs goes back to the 60's. Nothing new at all.
