Seems a crazy substitute for the real world but I do see a real use for providing companionship to the elderly. And no, I don't mean hot milf's in your area looking for action. I think you could model an AI to act as a friend to the very old that can't or won't get out and socialize which has a direction relation to the elderly's lifespan. It could be programmed trend the conversion to watch for changes in health or mental status and notify family or doctors and give the poor old geezers a low maintenance friend.
