I used to work for a sporting goods store chain in So Cal that was started and owned by a German gentleman, for the longest time we were one of the biggest suppliers of Toblerone in So Cal iirc.

I first had Toblerone, and genuine non-export Nestle and Lindt in the candy shop at Winter Park in 1983. Been a fan ever since.

You have to go to the smaller places and avoid the big guys.when I traveled for work I found a few great local chocolate places in Pennsylvania.

So I have to ask, are the bars available here the same formula as in Europe?   There's a thread every year at easter about how Cadbury Eggs from England are superior to the American version due to licensing. Are you buying domestic or import chocolate bars?

I think they are only made in Switzerland.

We have friends that are Swiss. Maybe we need a comparison.
