Most important RCR fact:
"Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard." |

Quoted: GD is fickle! M249 being discontinued thread is also another example. GD: I wish gun companies would offer military products to civis. FN: Offers M249 GD: Too expensive, semi auto only, shit trigger, horrible accuracy. "I'll just get an AR. " View Quote I’m not sure that’s a very good analogy. That would be like buying an F22 that isn’t stealth, can only drive around on the ground, has no missiles, and the gun is semi-automatic. It would obviously be pointless like a semi-automatic M249. |

Could it be that the RCR is built to a certain milspec that requires it to be more ruggedized and resistant to emp's and that's why its bigger then commercial units?
Just thinking out loud here. |

Quoted: You screwed the pooch chief, this thing is within a 1/10th of an inch of an ACRO. The comic book drawing can't be used for comparison. View Quote I'm not the target demographic for the RCR and that's fine. I bet it'll be great for duty guns in duty holsters. I'm sure there will be people that put them on their carry guns too. It's just too big for me to want on my carry gun. I'll do whatever best suits my needs sport, you're more than welcome to do the same. |

I ordered a RCR just to trigger everyone who likes to shit on others choices. If I could dupe it and also spell break and their incorrectly I would.
It weird to see people go all boomer fudd on a new version of a well regarded non-fuddy device. Closed emitter version. I remember when just putting optics on a pistol were mocked by the fudds. |

Looks like it’ll work for those who get one, I’m just not interested personally |

I'm really interested in hearing from someone who switches from an RMR to an RCR regarding BUIS. I just can't wrap my jlhead around the height difference not effecting iron sight choices.

So you should still be able to alight the irons if your rear clears the rear of the optic, the only different is that in the RCR you'll probably see a bit less of the lower half of the front sight through the optic because the window is higher, but you should still see enough of the top of the front sight to make them usable. |
