Someone sending me a pic of our products on the shelf 4 hours away makes it worth it.

Sorry for the frivolous and mysterious post but it’s a happy moment for us and I needed to get it off my chest!

It’s almost like hard work can have results.

As a matter of fact you can.

Further, I don’t want to jinx it but we have a pretty big meeting tomorrow that could spell out a massive leap for us. Knock on wood.

Actually, there certainly were. We almost didn’t get it done for lack of bottles. I had to beg for months.

Yep. But it has been awhile. We just got a small amount of distribution in Virginia. But even a small amount is ten times more than we had and a big step.

That issue will be resolving itself just like lack of cans in theory will go down (as long as the trucks keep running.

Luck and hard work are two entirely different things.

Congratulations on having the love, joy and perseverance to put the necessary hard
work into your passion and create the success that you have worked for.

Hey safe1:  See how it's done?

It had better not cost more than $2.09 for 20oz at the gas station.

Congrats!

If it's good (and the college students like it):

Work hard to get it in College area bars.   Apparently a lot of the spread of Yuengling beer was by college students requesting that 'good' beer they used to have (read:  Inexpensive but still reasonable quality, for 'good') when they moved out of PA for jobs.

The only one close to us that has it is Bristol on Euclid  St. and in Abingdon. We had to pick the stores and though it would have stoked our own egos to see it on local shelves I chose places with big numbers and better geographic spread. Virginia Beach, Roanoke, Richmond, Salem, Alexandria, Abingdon, Lexington, Charlottesville, Lynchburg, and Bristol.

Bristols numbers don’t warrant it.  It I suspect that will change when they open the casino. I wanted to be sure we were there.

Damnit, all better names than what we came up with.

Fellows, I don’t want it to be construed as advertising. But it’s hard not to post about stuff because it is my life.

ETA: though I would consider advertising but I don’t know if bourbon fits in with the motif of the site.

Awesome!  I'm hoping to roll out an invention in the spring and have it in Tractor Supply and local farm Co-Ops.  I will feel VERY accomplished if I ever see my product being sold at a place like that.

I hope I get to feel how you do :)

Get Tilman Fertitta of Landry Foods to put it in his bar/restaurants.  I listened to several episodes of him encouraging vendors to improve their products and he would take them on..  Hot Sauce was one.  He’s on a segment of CNBC Radio on weekends.

This is my family. My wife is right beside me. We create things that people enjoy and take satisfaction in that.

We built it from this in December of 2019…

Feel good thread. I love hearing or reading about people’s hard work starting to pay off. I’ve never understood people who get jealous of others success. I see it as inspiration

So congrats. May your business continue to grow and bring much success to you and yours.

Virginia doesn’t allow it.

Maybe if things go well tomorrow and we expand into other states it could be available from online retailers.

Virginia is a controlled state and very much “bitch better have my money”.
