Ya, not buying it.
First- Birds circling. Were they feeding on the swimmer? They are diving down, so was the swimmer herding baitfish? Second- Camerawork sucks and I can't see anything to say it was even a person Third- Comments question the channel since he has about getting clicks and the title sure does that. |

bullshit video. Not saying it can't or hasn't happened but...
|

This was actually real and that swimmer died in the attack. I saw it in the news when it happened.

View Quote Only arguing your first point: the gulls know there's going to be scraps left over from a shark kill. Once they see it happening they know to start circling overhead and be close enough to grab what they can find. It's pretty common when you see videos of seal kills close to shore. |

This is my favorite shark attack video.

I see a rocky coast, very rough water, and a fisherman dressed up like it's 40 degrees. Why the hell would a swimmer be out there?

Getting eaten by sharks is just like falling asleep. In a giant blender.

The man who was killed in a horrifying attack by a great white shark in Australia has been identified as a British diving instructor who was training for a charity swim – and about to get married to the “girl of his dreams.” Simon Nellist, 35, was mauled to death Wednesday in the caught-on-video attack by the 15-foot-long predator at Buchan Point in Malabar, in south-east Sydney, according to local reports. The 6-foot-5 ocean lover — a former member of the Royal Air Force — was swimming at Little Bay Beach when he was attacked just 500 feet from the coast, The Sun reported. “F— man! I heard a scream and the shark was just chomping on his body and the body was in half here just off the rocks. It came back and swallowed parts of his body and that was it,” he adds. |

The story…. https://nypost.com/2022/02/16/swimmer-killed-in-sydney-shark-attack/ A swimmer was killed by a shark in a vicious attack filmed by horrified beachgoers Wednesday near Sydney, video shows. Police said they recovered human remains in the water after emergency crews responded to reports of a great white shark attack at Buchan Point in Malabar about 4:30 p.m. local time. In the terrifying scene captured by a beachgoer, the shark could be seen thrashing around as the waves turned bright red from the victim’s blood. “Someone just got eaten by a shark!” a man yelled in the video, adding that the shark was a “big great white.” “That’s insane.” A police officer said on the radio: “Footage clearly shows a body, half a body, being taken by a shark,” adding that first responders “found some remains.” https://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-60398033 |

That's a shitty way to go
I lived in Australia and had a couple close calls myself. It's not a meme or a joke in that everything there wants to kill you. |

"Was he killed? You bet your sweet ass he was killed. And he had a family and everything!"

Horrible way to go for sure.
I had a "little" 8-footer check me out while freedive spearfishing. All I could think of was "shit! shit! shit!" as it came up straight at me from the bottom. It got to within 10 or so feet from me, turned away, and swam back down into the murk. It's been years since that happened and I still haven't regained the level of confidence I used to have in the water before that event... |

This is one of many reasons why I don't go in the ocean. I don't give a fuck what anyone says or thinks of me, I don't go in the ocean. Humans are the apex predator on land, not so in the water.

Welcome to the food chain. I've seen my biggest sharks diving at night on the Great Barrier Reef.
RIP Simon. CD |

Fuck the beach, fuck the ocean, fuck swimming.
It all disgusts me. |

You can be the baddest motherfucker walking the face of the planet, but once you enter the ocean you cede your title to a fish.

Damn. One of my worst fears. Eaten by a shark and ending up as a shit pile on the bottom of the ocean.

So who is the asshat that is fishing in the video? A guy is being mauled to death by a shark, one guy is filming it shocked by what he see's and the other guy doesn't even pull his line in and stop fishing...
