Yep, the original was pretty cheesy.
I think they put in the one everybody associates with the show around episode 6 or 8. I forgot about it also until Hallmark started running the re-runs in order. |

AFA Magnum, PI goes, I was 11 years old and stayed up late to watch the pilot episode the night it aired and was hooked. I've got the entire series on blu-ray (almost rather have it on DVD, as the blu-ray adds too much "soap opera" effect with the lighting and shading. There may be people who know more about the series than I do, but I doubt it's a big bunch. One of the best episodes outside of "Did you see the sunrise?" is "Unfinished Business." Another great one is "Laura." |
