The prosecutor wants the jurors to see the defendant throw a fit when the judge tells Brooks to stop.
I think she’s also trying to protect the record after conviction but I think that’s giving Brooks too much leeway at this point. |

I don't think the jury can follow his thought process (what little there is) and he is just hoping to get a SLIGHTLY lower sentence. I can see the possibility of a couple people on the jury asking questions, but, no way are they going to let him off on the 6 deaths. But... I am not on the jury... and everyone on the jury has a valid driver's license and knows where the brake pedal is. |
