Quoted: He’s fucking testifying and arguing “facts” not in evidence. Fucking object! Then address all his bullshit in rebuttal. Do both. Don’t just wait to address all his crap in rebuttal View Quote It doesn't matter. The jury knows exactly what has happened when they aren't in there. They aren't believing anything he says and they probably hate him more than anyone (other than the victims). Let him say whatever garbage he wants. It just makes him seem like an even bigger piece of shit... somehow. |

He's just fucking rambling. Whatever random thought that pops into his head.

Maybe Jesus loves you, but everyone else thinks you're a fucking piece of shit.

Lmao, "my conscience is clear". Rambling at this point.

I personally wouldn’t risk it and just sit idly by |

Not as good as the Ronnie O Neal statement, but perhaps more infuriating.

Of how I wish the taser he is wearing would misfire, over and over again.

Quoted: Not as good as the Ronnie O Neal statement, but perhaps more infuriating. View Quote He is rambling and has gone so far off the rails and losing the sympathy of the jury... he should have stopped before saying he has a clear conscience. I bet the prosecution brings that up and shows the pictures of people he killed by accelerating down the road when the recall would have slowed down his engine. |

Ppl are saying mean things about your dad because he destroyed over 68 lives.

Dieseling like an old 70s car when you turn off the ignition but it keeps rumbling on.

Strong rebuttal from the prosecutor. That could've been in a movie.
Hopefully he's put away for good. |

Must the judge read the entirety of the jury instructions again?

She slid straight into reading the remainder of the jury instructions as soon as the DA ass hit the chair. Pretty slick move on her part. He's done..... after reading all 87 thousand tomes of the jury instructions.

I am going to have to set up some kind of alert for when the jury comes out of deliberation. I have never really followed one of these trials, but this loon is entertaining. I have been in a jury, and cannot imagine it will take long to deliberate. I assure you the jurors have seen enough of his antics, and the evidence and testimony is beyond overwhelming.
His absolute lack of remorse as he cried for himself and his future will not help his case. |

Quoted: Must the judge read the entirety of the jury instructions again? View Quote Yeah... it has to go into the record that she read it for ALL the charges. It will probably take another hour. The Jury will get it tonight and I am betting (in the morning) they all lay out all the papers on a table in 12 stacks and just walk around and sign guilty on all of them. Maybe 20-30 minutes of paperwork and 30min to read the charging statements. No way the Jury does not already have their minds made up. |

I'm actually shocked he gave a closing. I thought he'd nullify his way out.

Probably not easy explaining to your kids how big a piece of chit you are. Not easy explain to your cell mates why you killed 6 people…some of them kids!

Quoted: I've never seen objections in closing arguments. Is that a thing unique to Wisconsin? View Quote I'm sure someone else has chimed in, but it's not unique to Wisconsin. I've objected during closings before, but very sparingly. Objecting is something of a taboo, but sometimes it's called for, especially if it's an argument outside of evidence, or the party making their closing argument is deliberately trying to confuse the jury. I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've done it, and I don't think anyone has objected during one of my closings (though I could be wrong) because I always felt that as a prosecutor I should do my best to stay well within the bounds of what the rules of evidence allows rather than flirting with the margins. |
