Still brown everywhere....have you seen things like the tundra...and are you aware of music right now?

It was grungier in the late 60s... 70s was a period of cleaning up... then disco happened.
The 70s had some of the best music ever. You're just ignoring it by focusing on disco. Disco was pop for the 70s and pop always sucks.
The 70s also had some of the coolest muscle cars ever. You're also ignoring them. But yes, the fashions sucked. |
I thought they were pretty good, but I was a young'in with no real responsibilities.
The broads looked pretty good. Lots of flat asses and big bush though.
Cars sucked Music was amazing OP has issues |

Horrible music? Horrible cars? I don’t think this is a topic we can discuss without coming to blows.

Also...a time before AIDS, condom use, and woke feminist bullshit.

I was born at the end of the decade, but every time I see or read anything about the decade, it seems like a very grimy time.
Totally. Life is way better with cardi b and millions of trans testicles fluttering around everywhere.
OP is thinking of the late 70's. The early part of the decade had excellent cars, excellent music and no bras.

No social media in those days, so you only experienced what was in your immediate surroundings. And guns were CHEAP.
The hippies from the 70's are the politicians ruining shit now. It's funny that their mantra went from "power to the people" to "the government knows best!"
Compared to the 80s, the 70s was just so-so.
Compared to now, the 70s were like Utopia. |
I would certainly like to hit up a time machine and go exploring, not going to guarantee I won't do shit that may or may not land me in jail
I had a 68 GTO 550hp rear wheels, worked for bar bands, hunted LNAS, Dix and McGuire. lived in the Jersey shore, had ride and die friends, zepplin, the who, the doors
the best time and place to grow up, saw things that many never will, it was amazing |

Stupid "popular" hair, clothes, but the worst STDs going around could be knocked out with just antibiotics.

Quoted: The drugs were amazing View Quote the drugs where quaaludes, booze and coke. 60s drugs were more interesting. 70s was a sucky decade. rolled out of rock into disco (one drummer for all tracks), polyester, heavy smog downed cars, herpes. 70s was the most boring, stupid decade of my life. only the covid-trump-craziness is worse and i dont expect it to last more than 2 or 3 years. |
Horrible angry bush, like the kind that surrounds both front AND back. There is no good reason for that. I did the research, just trust me. Gross.
Lots of action in the 70s. No fear of aids. Lots of great bands like Lead Zep, Stones, Deep Purple. Lotta great guitar players. Ozzy was hot, etc. Making lots of $$ and having fun. Great cars then. 71, still had hot Mopars, Fords, GTOs, 442s, you name it. A great time. Great memories. None of this political correct shit. Not a period of rioting and mass killings.

Yes. They were dirty and gross. America was shitty and ashamed. Then 1980 happened with the Miracle on Ice and Reagan, and things started getting better.

If I could take my current self (mid 40's, single, plenty of $ (even inflation adjusted) to any era it would probably be the mid '70s...
Just enough technology, still mostly analog, no AIDS, tons of drugs, I like the colors and styles of the era, the cars I like ('60s and older) are cheap and plentiful, I really can't think of anything I like/need from 2021 that I'd miss in 1974... |

Worst colors, worst cars, worst music. Awful decade.
Weird how it was right next to the 80s and failed so badly |
Hey now!
The Bee Gees are always great! And, the 70s saw the start of Meat Loafs career. Rod Stewart too. |

If you were able to locate a turntable, you could spend days listening to some of the most iconic rock/blues/folk I have in my collection. Stone's CSN&Y Traffic etc. My son marvels at the music we listened to. |

I got alot of pussy in the 70s , now the pussy I get is close to 70
