Quoted: If you mean Omega Man with Charlton Heston was better than The Last Man on Earth with Vincent Price, you may be right, though the latter was much closer to the book. If you are saying the Will Smith abomination was better than either one, then I'll have to disagree. View Quote |

A lot of you seem kind of hazy on what is meant by "remake of a movie."
But, in answer to OP's question: The Producers. |

Quoted: It Original is a classic. But the remakes were 100 times more enjoyable for me View Quote The remakes suck ass. Part of what makes the story work is the back and forth from past to present. Not to mention the whiny asshole (Tozier?) in the adult version of the remake. I was hoping that Pennywise would carry him off and kill him in a slow horribly gruesome way. |

What remake was done of Tron? I'm only aware of the 1982 version. Quoted: Red Dawn Don't ban me, bro! I actually enjoyed the 2012 version of Red Dawn. That being said, I believe they made a huge mistake calling it Red Dawn, call it anything else, but that was not a remake. If you decouple it from the 1984 Red Dawn, it's good. |

Evil dead 2...
Comedy suits the franchise better imo... /me puts on flame suit. |

Charleston Heston Ben-Hur (1959 film) was better than the Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ is a 1925 American silent epic adventure-drama film

Aliens (1986) is a spectacular remake of Them (1954)

Quoted: It references the original movie, technically a sequel not a remake. I'll admit, it was much better than I expected though. Not sure if this counts, but I agree. The satire Jamanji movies are really funny to me. My wife and I watch them anytime they're on. |

Starship Troopers.
It hasn't been made yet but it won't takes much to be better. |

Flight of the Phoenix? I've never seen the 1965 Jimmy Stewart version but the 2002 version with Dennis Quaid was pretty good... I like how they changed the twist at the end to suit the modern setting.

Dune (new one will probably be better too)
True Grit The Thing Dredd Man of Steel |

Quoted: Starship Troopers. It hasn't been made yet but it won't takes much to be better. View Quote Can't re-make until you make. The one that came out was not related to the book, it was already finished, and the director bought rights to use the title because of a few superficial similarities. He never even read it, and is a compleat tard libcommie. The first Starship Troopers movie based on the book will be the first one. |

The Legend Of Tarzan was better than all the rest of the movies
The Hammer version of Dracula is to me far better than the original Dredd better than Judge Dredd |
