Quoted: What if they're using Chinese military spyware on said phone? Because that's what's happening here. View Quote I'm surprised by the lack of cracking down on this type of stuff. Using tiktok in the field, while training, showing equipment, etc. What happened to keeping military secrets secret? Why do they keep broadcasting all the mission related gear, locations, training, etc? I'm sure the Chinese love getting free Intel from stupid bimbos on their apps. Location data, pics, groups of people who travel together and are in units... Intel/Opsec nightmare. |

Loose lips sink........deez nuts.
She's not that good looking and annoying as hell though, so no. Plus fuck her, she's broadcasting her position to the Chinese. Might as well be on the radio with them calling in coordinates. |

Some of us literally lived through this and saw the terminology start to get used and spread. How old are you? |

Pronounced poe-guh I guess. It is a derogatory term used to describe all the soldiers in the rear with the gear. I first heard this term from Vietnam vets. I have never heard of it used when talking about someone being gay. |

How old are you? Pogue has been around for a long time. Much longer than my hitch in the USMC circa 80s-90s. Now lets discuss "Pogey bait and Geedunk"... Yep. I was an Active Army 11B from 89 to 91 and an FO from 96 to 02. It was ALWAYS Pogue and pogey bait back then. This POG crap didn't start infiltrating the Army until the GWOT had already kicked off and gained steam. In the 90's, a pogue was analogous to a REMF, or Rear Echelon Mother Fucker. Of course, with the GWOT, there realy weren't too many rear areas, as most everyone was at some fairly remote shithole, where they frequently received IDF or were hitting IED's on the regular. So, the Grunts had to come up with a different way to make themselves feel uniquely special, hence the backronym of POG, or Person Other Than Grunt. When I deployed to Afghanistan in 2002, a POG was a cardboard disc you got as change from the little, understocked, AAFES tent on KAF after spending two hours in line, only to find out the only things they had in stock were condoms, footballs, shitty movies on DVD, and three cans of Pringles, and it was pronounced pawg. Oh, and pogey bait was the shit the AAFES tent had for sale before they got cleaned out by the first three dudes in line. It was the lickey-chewies, sodas, crackers, cans of tuna, packs of Ramen, and other edibles you brought to the field if you were lucky enough to have a vehicle or if you were willing to hump it in your already overweight ruck. Back in the days of WW2, it was the Hershey bars and cans of Coke the REMF supply guys absconded with to enjoy themselves or to sell on the black market, rather than forward them to the guys on the front line. |

If she wasn't in the Army she would already have several fatherless black babies and drive an Altima
But there's still time for that |

That girl is crazy, and high maintenance.
Nope, too much being stabbed to death while being videoed for the social media clout ultimate meltdown potential there. |

She’s definitely my style, assuming she’s got more than stick legs and no butt.
But, every military chick I’ve ever known is nutty and half of them ended up pregnant right quick. I won’t date a military chick and I’d be real careful about sleeping with one. |

Pogey bait has been well established in Army circles my whole time in, Geedunk had never seemed to bleed over from the Navy. I never even heard Marines use it much. |

Never seen anything really concrete. |

Back when I was in. A female attention whoring like this would have gotten some very nasty things said about her behind her back.
All the while every male confident in himself to try would be attempting to get in her ACU's Pregnant and chapter'd by first deployment or married to an officer or high ranking NCO quietly without talk of fraternization. In today's Army. I sure she's one of many and probably less infuriating to communicate with than the average soldier. So Idk. |
