What do you guys use to get groceries delivered?
My wife.
ETA-I have used Instacart when I was laid up with a back injury while I was out of town in a hotel. |
I carry my own a$$ to the store and get my own stuff. I don't even have pizza delivered.
(Also, Never have I ever, grub hub. door dash. uber. etc...) If I want/need something, I get my a$$ up and go get it. |

I couldn't do it even if it was viable here.
I need to get out of the house as often as possible. I have had the store in town charge beer to my account and deliver it to a jobsite for my guys though. |
My wife does the grocery shopping while I'm at work while my boys are either doing chores or finishing their school work.
I go to the grocery store and push the cart around and fill it according to a list I've brought.
I use Instacart. Best thing ever. I haven't been in a grocery store in years.

Would not use it with my own money. |

Quoted: Lol. I can't even get a pizza delivered here. View Quote Same, the pizza place is open 4 days a week, and has never offered delivery. I called the next town over one time and asked about delivery once, I had to drive 5 miles to meet them, because they had a certain cross road that was their cutoff for delivery distance. |
Quoted: I swear some of you guys must be made of money. View Quote Peapod Stop&Shop delivery had coupons in December that were cheaper than buying in store. The problem wasn't cost. The delivery guy tossed the stuff off the truck as if he was testing luggage. AMERICAN TOURISTER - The Gorilla Commercial 1970 |

I'm not lazy, nor is my wife. We go shopping and push the cart. We enjoy time together talking about what foods to try and what we will eat throughout the week.
I like to go out and make sure the world is still there.
I'll have to be pretty fucked up to not go in a store myself. |
There’s a supermarket half a mile from us. I need something, I can be there and back in 15 minutes.

USPS is now delivering groceries (in my area )
Our rural mail carrier is PISSED! |
Hey, what's the standard for tipping- if any -when it comes to these apps?
How is the quality of items purchased? Coupons? I normally hotfoot it to the grocery, but I'm not so old school where I can't forsee trying it out. |

Quoted: Lol. I can't even get a pizza delivered here. View Quote Same where I am at the moment. I could at my home in Ohio, but it's not a big deal for either the wife or I to stop at the grocery stores there. Besides, I'm not going to trust some wanker to pick decent produce or cuts of meat. But it's a good deal for my neighbor in Ohio since he has a hard time getting around. |
None for delivery but sometimes instacart runs a $30 or $50 off coupon so I'll do pickup with that.

why would I forgo the MILFs in their yoga pants at Publix?
Quoted: Absolutely. These other guys saying that they do it themselves don't realize it's cheaper to have it delivered if you factor in your time View Quote some people used to say that about reloading. Like they were prevented from closing a megamerger or something. |

Instacart a few times but fired them because they require too much goddamn hand holding when they cant find an item
from your list and they end up texting incessantly. |

We go to the store.
My wife used to do all of the shopping. Now I'm learning to do it because she can't. She knows the layout of three different stores, where stuff is, and which item is cheapest at which store. I am having to learn all of that stuff, with a lot of calls home to ask about my extremely detailed shopping list. It's a pain in the ass, but it's the only way to shop and get what I want, like do I want 5 pounds of rice, or is it a great deal and I want three, or do I want the ten pound bag? Not only that, but I don't want some dweeb picking out my meat and fresh produce. |

Quoted: I'm not one of the poors. I could afford to have my groceries brought to me by limo. I, like you, still get off my lazy ass and go to the store. It's not about the money. It's about not being such a lazy fuck that you can't even drag your ass to the grocery store. This of course excepts the severely disabled/elderly/etc... who simply cannot actually do it. My, now, ex-wife started using delivery services and then started with the meal kit services (Blue Apron, etc...) and that was one of the many signs that she had lost her goddamned mind and that we would not be married much longer. There were many many other signs. When we were together we never seemed to have any money. Without her to spend my money on frivolously retarded crap like having groceries delivered all portioned out so that all we have is ingredients for specific meals which would only occasionally be prepared as intended instead of groceries generally, I suddenly have just fucking loads of cash accumulating. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: I'm one of the poors that goes to the store. I'm lazy as fuck. Many smart people are. A few dollars spent having people do the things you don't want to do is money well spent. Work (and live) smart, not hard. Same as my job. I don't do shit. All of my work is done well. Boss is happy. Clients are happy. Close to zero effort expended on average. Smart people don't have to do busy work. |

Walmart is the only one that will deliver here.
It doesn't cost much at all, $13/month, and a tip with every delivery. Fuck wasting my life in a store. |
