In my travels, I've stood in the middle of actual revolution and seen mass civil violence during an independence movement. This year, unrest came to my home in St. Paul.

Fucked up as they are, things are still too good in America to create true, deep-down political upheaval on the level I witnessed in Asia and Europe. This year's shenanigans are noteworthy but still bush league.

I've also learned that even when there are sparks, nothing ends with a bang. That's the path we're on: continued nationwide navel gazing, bickering, and stagnancy. Decades of creaking, crumbling, and countless unreported tragedies.

Most of my friends are petit bourgeois lefties. They couldn't take over a Zoom happy hour much less bring communism to America. I urge everyone to visit a current pseudo communist or former communist nation—you don't know communism until you see it on people's faces. Or in their hopeless fucking voices.

America is unique in that we have enshrined rights but not much of an unwritten social contract—the expectations and obligations we have of each other. Most other nations are the opposite, which is why they often feel like they have their shit together on one hand, but have crushing conformism and recurring, endemic problems on the other. That's why we create entire industries time and again—hopefully we can invent our way out of today's bullshit!

I don't think anyone knows which is what makes it dangerous as hell.

The Good Lord only knows.  I think the doomers insisting Conservatives are just going to sit back and watch the country implode are very wrong.  I think GD is way too focused on the extreme minority of BLM and AntiFa supporters (not that we shouldn’t be cautious) and assuming they have taken over already.  People have given them easy victories - statues (which, like it or not, are easy enough to remove), “abolishing the police” while taking a year to “plan” and (I suspect) come up with something very like the police with a new name (or watch the city go up in flames), the Dems pushing as radical an agenda as possible to fire BLM/AntiFa up behind a squish like Biden (which is easy when you know your bills won’t pass, see the millions of Obamacare repeal bills), and the sacrifice of a few scapegoats to keep the mob happy.  It looks like a lot.  In reality it’s symbolic - and it’s bad and stupid symbolism, but there’s been nothing concrete, just a lot of overheated talk.  You don’t ignore overheated talk, but you also watch who’s saying the most insane crap - people far from the levers of power (AOC and Ilhan Omar are bit players we play up just like the left plays up bit players on our side who say crazy crap).  The people in charge aren’t doing a lot.  Which, given that the Dems could easily ram through a ton of BLM-inspired crap in the states they utterly control, tells me encouraging this is more a way to get people afraid of the Bad Orange Man.  He’s made it so bad people are marching in the streets!

I don’t think it’s “The End”, I think the Left is genuinely frightened of Trump, like the Right was of Hillary, and they’re panicking.  I don’t like Biden, I’m not voting for Biden, but he isn’t Hillary.  He was intended to “moderate” Obama by being a respected elder statesman (lol).  If he wins, I don’t expect him to push through anything near what Obama did.  I expect something we dislike, and that the left is underwhelmed by (like The Lightbringer, they’re turning on him with incredible venom these days if you read some of the “mainstream” left).  Even if he steps down (something I wouldn’t put money on - regardless of the pressure from the Dems, he’ll be running the party, and no one has ever given up the presidency without dying, being voted out, or, with Nixon, being forced out by a massive bipartisan outcry and huge party pressure) whoever his VP is would be in the unenviable position of not having been prepared for the presidency for years or having won campaigns, and I expect she would very quickly find out how complicated the presidency can be, and how many people will start telling her what to do.  I expect sheer chaos.  

Barring something crazy (invasion, aliens, killer tomatoes), I expect four more years of dysfunction.  If Biden wins I really expect something like the second coming of Jimmy Carter - a feckless, worthless fool who will be spit out by the electorate as soon as his four years are up.  Four more years of Trump would be four more years of Trump.  Anyone trying to throw down or completely change how the country works will end up pretty well thwarted.  Either we end up working things out through Federalism, or the pendulum will build up for a forceful swing left (now or later), then an even more forceful swing right, and so on unless we dampen things down.  I don’t see Mad Max or 1984 in our near future though.  Just more of the same crap.

Parallels between this and many Marxist takeovers exist.  The violence and civil unrest is like 68 but the rest is more sinister and resembling of Mao/Marx.

My opinion is that what we are seeing is due in large part to the failure of the Republican Party to live up to authentic conservative ideals.

How else could we have arrived at this place? The GOP has become soft, corrupt, and unrecognizable in its fiscal policy.  Republicans allowed Neocons to hijack the party and prosecute their never-ending wars for the rich, sold us out to China, sent jobs abroad, capitulated on unchecked immigration.  The list goes on.  They made the left’s solutions attractive to far too many people. People who might be rational today if they hadn’t gotten sucked into the vortex. But those folks were made vulnerable to the message of the left by shitty leadership and a giant vacuum where the GOP should have been but wasn’t.

They have remained largely because a lot of us still hold dear the ideas and symbols they use as props to manipulate us, then they make us look like fools moments later when they stab us in the back. If Republicans had consistently displayed clear leadership, shown the strength to stand and act on principle, and generally lived up to conservative ideals we would never have reached this point. Simply because people would have recognized and rejected the left’s ridiculous and nonsensical policy prescriptions.  

But now, since the GOP has allowed itself to be discredited and it’s reputation tarnished by constant scandal, weakness, and avarice, the arguments of the left advocating its half-baked communist insanity have gained a foothold. It didn’t have to be this way, and my belief is that we must rejuvenate actual conservatism from the death bed upon which it currently languishes.

Of course I’m voting for Trump again this fall. But if we are ever going to make it long term, conservatives are going to have to elect better leaders to the House and Senate.  There have to be worthy candidates out there. If Trump does win, that buys us a small amount of time. The oppositional forces are only gaining momentum when the alternative appears rotten from within and either unwilling or unable to stand up and fight. The contrast between the parties has to be clearer, stronger, and more courageous than it has ever been so that we can win people back to our side.

If Trump wins, a thorough congressional house cleaning should be next or it’ll likely be the last term of any President even resembling a conservative that we will ever see.

Thus, the United States is depicted as defending Israel against the Antichrist and the One World Government (Revelation 12:14).  The woman with the 12 stars (12 tribes) is Israel; “into her place” is the Promised Land; the two wings of a great eagle is the United States.  The United States appears to be a place of refuge for those Jews and Christians who do not accept the Mark of the Beast.

Beasts in the bible are nations/kingdoms (the animals below are the modern national symbols for nations on earth at the time of Christ's return). The Daniel 7:2-8 beasts:
