Not sure which barrel to recommend without knowing what caliber you want, but it looks like that's going to be a beautiful setup! Have a Larue MBT on order to try out. Will be my first non Geissele trigger, we'll see. Have a BA 10.3" Hanson profile 5.56 barrel on the way as well. Hmm, hadn't considered an ACOG, May be just the ticket! |

Lots of good looking rifles in this thread. I can't pick just one. I like the retros, and I like modern SBRs with silencers and optics. I think they all look the best when in use. Shooting in the pouring rain, with steam cooking off the hot gas tube.

I'm thinking I'm gonna get a Leupold VX-6HD for it. 2-12 magnification range at something like 16oz of weight with decent glass will keep the rifle light but versatile for hunting, which is what I built it for. It's 6.5 Grendel. I'm also kind of tossing around the idea of a NX8 instead though. |
