Title says it.
Would you punch, kick, grapple, sweep kick, attack the groin area vigorously or what? Something else? Snap punch to the Adam's apple perhaps? What? Go! |

Depends.
Real fight, life threatening. Eye poke. Fun with friends. Headlock or single leg. |

In HS wrestling, I used to tap their head with my hand to distract them before I shot.
Of course, that was in the 80’s and on a wrestling mat. YMMV. |

Remove yourself from the situation if possible . 1st step is don’t let yourself get into the situation . 3rd step is to attack with everything you’ve got . Disable the eyes , kicks to the balls , hit to the solar plexus, total mad-dog mean . Bite , gouge , anything to get the opponent to quit . If he dies , he dies mentality

I think about it a lot. You never know which maneuver to use until the situation presents itself.

snap a folding karambit from me pocket and cut your throat faster than you can see.
ill stick my knife right down your throat baby and it hurts. |

Sweep the leg and then take 'em out for ice cream and a buddy flick.

Whatever you decide.. make sure you take his wallet on your way out.

Why would you even allow yourself to get within arms reach of a bad guy?
Remember this is a gun forum. |

I used to have to train people that it was grab the arm in escort position. If they lock out/pull away, it’s smack the common peroneal with a knee and straight armbar takedown. If they turtle up, it’s the knee distract and then the transport wrist lock take down.
It’s worth about fuck all in the real world. Where the head goes, the body will generally follow. Use that to get them down and away and disengage/get distance. |

It all depends on the situation.
Per my instructors, if they throw a wide punch, spear over the shoulder, elbows to the head, push and osoto gari followed by vigorous kicks to the dick and temple seems like a winning combination to keep them down. I’m not at a point where I would bet on my ability to do that well. |

Let your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt.

Avoid physical altercation altogether. Automatic win.
Edit: fine I’ll play. Headbutt when in close proximity has been extremely effective. |

Don't try to put everything that you've got into it and possibly over extend or under extend your kicks or whatever due to inexperience, but knock that fucker out all the same! Sometimes, three well placed blows can be better than two that are pretty far off with more force. You know? Once their TKO'ed then you can slow it down a little if you have to do in order to finish the job at hand. Then get away. |

Typically I’d go with the duck under to his right as he throws a punch, turn right 180° and throw in a half under his left arm, put my right wrist against his trachea and lean back. His body weight cuts off his air, he passes out, and I set him on the ground. About 3/4 of the time they piss themselves. The whole thing takes a few seconds from first contact.

Simultaneous throat strike with leg sweep.
OR.... The Huth Mind eraser. If you know, you know. |

I carry a pocket full of tonsil stones to throw in their eyes and make my getaway.
