For some reason a real Galil came to mind. I'd like one of the Golanis but.....yeah lol not the same View Quote The Golanis are piles of shit unless you put alot of work into them. My two dream guns were the SCAR 17 and a Galil. 308. Recently acquired the SCAR. Working on the Galil |

M16A1 clone. Specifically the ones you see issued to troops during Vietnam. I see those up on Gunbroker from time to time, but they tend to be a bit more than I really care to pay. But ever since both my brothers built their own ARs, I thought about giving it a try. Just getting the parts seem like a pain in the ass, though.

A Winchester 1892 large loop lever gun in 38/357. I've wanted one for probably 20 years, but just can't bring myself to pay what they want for them. I've thought about a Rossi 92 a couple times, but have never gotten around to it. Owell, maybe some day.

Excluding NFA items, I've pretty much had/have what I've always wanted with exception to an AUG. I've wanted one since seeing Die Hard and having a toy AUG as a kid.

A friend of mine has one of the AKs used in the filming of the original Red Dawn. He has papers and shit to prove it. I'd like to have that. They were steyr maadis. Correct? Yes. There was one with the paperwork on one of the auction sites several years ago. |

Ma Deuce and a couple of pallets of ammo. Totally impractical, don't need it at all...but nothing says "Fuck you" quite like Big Mama. |

I've been wanting a Ruger Redhawk 44mag with 5.5" barrel for a few years now. I think 2016 may be the year I get one. We'll see. View Quote Do it. I have one, and it's the sweetest-shooting .44 I've ever fired. In fact, it's the only .44 revolver I still own. S&Ws beat up the webbing of my hands. Super Blackhawks are knuckle-busters. Tauruses are just plain unpleasant. But that Redhawk, I can shoot all day until my arms get tired from holding it up (or my wallet gives out, whichever happens first). Bonus points as it's a Ruger, and insanely strong even for the cartridge. An over-eager and under-cautious handloader could blow one up, but he'd have to work at it pretty hard. I've seen conversions done, dropping a .454 cylinder into a .45 Colt Redhawk, and I believe Bowen still makes some insane conversions as well. |
