Is it just me or does anyone's clothes stink bad after going into a subway?

9 grain honey Oat

I see I didn't make it before all the hipster sandwich nazis.
Italian Herb and Cheese Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki Pepper Jack Toast that bitch Lettuce Onions Sweet Onion Sauce Their steak sandwiches are pretty good, as well. Thanks, OP. Now I'm really hungry |

Subway's not terrible. JM's is better, imho but I'm not a snob. I'll eat Subway.
Cheese steak on wheat, all the peppers they have, onion, provolone and a little mayo. Normally they toast just the meat and cheese. I guess it makes a mess in the toaster if they put the other stuff on, too. But if you flirt with the girls a little, they'll toast the whole thing for you. |

Subway Melt on wheat with american cheese, lettuce, tomato, and salt & pepper.
|
|
Various, but the usual constants are: Foot long, nine grain honey oat, all the vegetables except for lettuce, and a bit of brown mustard. The choice of cheese is either pepper jack, or provolone.
When they used to have it in my local shops, I would have them add crushed red pepper. they no longer have that stuff. |

Can be any of the cold cut options with lettuce, pickle, onion, little bit of light mayo and mustard, and a little bit of pepper.
Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki is good too. |
|
Slice of pizza and a salad from the excellent pizza place next door. Honestly I don't know how the Subway or the Papa John's Pizza in that strip mall can stay in business.

Sounds like a lot of first world problems here ....years ago, I spent two years battling the IRS (cock suckers). They grabbed my bank account (all of it) and attached half my gross wages. I continued to pay child support, go to work and pay rent (a room at someone's house). A fucked up time for sure but the discipline did me good. In the end, the IRS was the one that made the mistake I and retrieved most of my money: first thing (after eating ramon soup and living on a marginal diet), I went to Sub-way and picked up a 12" cold cut combination - Jesus, the best meal ever. Still pick one up sometimes for old times sake .,,,
Rule # something: don't complain about what you have ........ |

Subway is seriously bad. There are other big chain sandwich shops that charge around the same but offer much better food (Potbelly's, Quiznos to name two).
Unfortunately I eat there often only because they are conveniently located. |

Corporate samiches FTMFL
Local mom and pop shops FTMFW Pay for that shit bread and foul meat? Over priced too no thanks. Eta I live in the northeast, no shortage of great delis and sammich shops. We invented that stuff. Go to a good kosher deli with fresh rye bread and roast beef cooked that morning. Ingalls grocery in Asheville NC had killer Samys but they make their own great bread. The bread makes the sammich and subways is crap. |
|
I try not to eat there very often.
