What totally useless/ silly / expensive toy are you currently lusting after right now…. And would buy if you had the cash available??
Guns? Motorcycle ? Cars? Trucks? Electronics? Airplanes? Hobby shit? Antiques? What’s your weakness ? My current wants. M35a3 with winch ( never seen a winch on one of these before ), And a ural motorcycle with side car and 2wheel drive. Both are Lots of fun, and I actually have some actual real life uses for these…. But really not needed, just WANTED! Attached File Attached File |

A Polaris NorthStar and RZR.
Technically the NorthStar is the new snow plow host so not completely a toy. |
|
An older Land Rover Defender. I barely fit in them, they're miserable to drive, horribly unreliable and I want one so bad it hurts.
|
|
I have more than a few guitars, but I still have G.A.S. for the recently-introduced PRS SE DGT goldtop.
|
|
Some sort of "smart" watch, mainly to keep track of my fucked-up sleep patterns.
|
|
None I’m currently lusting after.
But my current most useless gun that is my absolute favorite: Attached File My most useless(okay it is a fine daily, but it’s unreliable, expensive to maintain, and falls short of todays performance standards) car: Attached File |

I want a bike. No particular kind of bike, just something that's good around town as well as on the highway.
|
|
Nothing. I have all the stuff I need and want. I just put $12K in a CD this month. Some of you guys are going to be sorry in a few years when your toys are sold off at 1/2 what you paid for them to pay the bills. Getting old ain't for stupid people.

r18 bobber. completely useless because i don't think i can even fit on it but i kinda want one
|
|
There's a handful of weird firearms. I'm not going to name them because I don't need one of you mouth breathers who also think they're cool running out and buying the cheap ones on me.
A metal detector. I used to own a top-notch one, but it was top-notch when I owned it. Much as changed since. I'm having to re-learn what's what. |

A Honda Jet and the logbook to get insured to fly it single pilot.
I have a ways to go on the logbook. |
|
I'd love to buy a Kawasaki Mule to run around the place. Not exactly useless considering some problems I'm having, just beyond my financial reach right now.
And I've been looking around for a decent DL-44 prop that isn't crazy expensive. |
|
I have every material thing I want. Seriously. No need for more stuff.
It’s a nice feeling. |

-OU coach gun, maybe the Stoeger tacticool one to go with my LCRx and Henry X.
-Gen 5 Glock 20 or 40 (when that comes out). I have absolutely zero need for it though in hindsight I shoot rarely enough that instead of getting a 17 and 48 I could have gotten a 20 and 48. ?? -An ATV to ride around town, do trails and plow snow. Golf carts are legal in town if registered and insured, I need to find out what that actually includes. But I don't need it for any of that. I shovel my sidewalk, drive my SUV through my snowy driveway and have that and a mountain bike to get around. |

Well, right now I want another S&W Model 27-2, another Les Paul guitar and one particular color Shelby GT500. Yes, I certainly don't need any of these toys. Yes, the junk I already own is more than sufficient. In fact, my life would be much easier and simpler without wasting all the time, energy and money needed to find and buy just the right specimens. However, I know that isn't what going to happen.

Quoted: A tritoon. View Quote As an owner of a 24’ Bentley tritoon, DO EEET!!! Great fun, stability and smooth on the water. My wants… A few new scale models came out or soon to be released. But shit, I’ve got 300 kits already and not enough time lift in my life to build a quarter of them. 1/32 A-20 Havoc and 1/32 Devastator. It would take stupid piss away money for the bagger for my ZTR. Bagger alone is $2000. We can afford it, just cannot justify it. |

I’m currently figuring out the logistics of booking a trip next summer to ride the iron class at Romanians. So not really a thing but it will be expensive and I will be giving up a week of busy season work at my business.

So many things I want but cant justify.
I want a walther p99 final edition, but have a gen 1 and 3, do I really need another gen2. If I got the final edition, I would "need" a first gen OD one. I have staccato c2, but want an XC. I should sell my c2 and get an XC and a CS. But I would not ever carry the CS, same as I dont carry my C2. I want a 75 inch TV, but my last gen 55 inch samsung plasma has such a great picture I will wait for it die. I would love a new truck, but my 95.5 tacoma does what I need it to do, just not as pretty ( its got wheel wheel rust ). Kind of hard to justify a truck payment, when the truck sees maybe 5k miles a year. |

Guns - Glock 47, HK VP-40
Motorcycle - Suzuki Hayabusa Cars- Shelby GT500, Mustang GT, Dodge Challenger SRT-8 Trucks 01-04 Ford F-150 extended cab 5.4 Electronics- Sony 2000 watt stereo, Gibson Les Paul Zakk Wylde and a Marshall amp Airplanes- I don't fly Hobby shit - rare Metallica CDs Antiques- used to collect old car hood ornaments |

There's a couple old S&W 9mms I'm looking at, forget the model numbers. 6906 and 3906 maybe.

View Quote I don’t know there is a balance, what’s the point of hoarding all of your money when you’re young and able? So what if your toys are worth 1/2 of what you bought them for if you enjoy them? I don’t get a boner looking at my investment accounts, but I do go from 6 to noon every time I ride my Sherco in the woods or line up on a start. I won’t be able to do that shit when I’m 70. |
