Sometimes on a Thanksgiving my wife, kids and I will have TV dinners. This way we get what we want and it's cheap. .
As a kid my favorite was and still is salsbery steak. |

Swanson Hungry Man ad, 1984 This is what diversity meant back in the late 70’s early 80’s. There is a reason that women flock themselves too and through themselves at Boomers. Eat your heart out =<Gen X. Back then Pussy was easily acceded by wimps. Maybe that is the problem today. |

The whole family, eating on our trays, watching The Waltons, Little House on the Prairie, or Apples Way. Whatever it was, it was an awesome nights dinner. Wish Mom & Dad were still here. The simpler days. I miss them. |

I think it was Swanson that had the German TV dinners Spatzel and sauerbraten along with red cabbage. Surprisingly, it was pretty damn good then like so many of the foods I liked it was gone, just like tuna pies.

Haven't eaten that mystery meat in decades, but have fond memories. Don't want to ruin them by trying the stuff now. |

Hungry Man fried chicken, the one that had the cranberry-apple dessert.
Was that the’70s? I dunno… |
