I preferred rucking to running. What’s even worse though is running with your ruck on. Slinky. Just wait until you start doing the 12 miles in under 3 hours solo rucks. You’ll end up jogging a good bit of it. |

I wouldn't mind finding her under the tree.... wife would probably disagree. Probably not worth the risk |

GA is not supposed to be cold. I hope it stays above 40 when I go back. And we had an ice storm the weekend after I graduated OSUT and was in Airborne school. |

I would hazard a guess and say you better be able to do 12 miles in 2 hours for RASP. And be prepared for a 25 miler, too. And one where you don’t know how far you have to go and how long you have to get there. SF Selection class was doing their last movement before graduation. It was one of those where there was no time limit, just do it as fast as you can. When they got to the first endpoint, they were told the mission had changed, they now needed to go to s different spot. That happened again, and 2 of the soldiers decided they couldn’t make it any further and dropped out. The other soldiers got up and walked out of the pavilion they were in, to find the cadre waiting on them to congratulate them for completing Selection. DO NOT QUIT |
