Pole coming. |

Thumb out is what I expect from someone with a Monster Energy drink and a ciggy hanging from their mouth in a rusty truck.

Depends on the situation.
Angry? Thumb in. “Oh fuck off, douchebag” is relaxed and thumb out. The facial expression should match the bird. All of that said, I don’t flip people off. Folks get violent. |

Mine is basically a tight fist with the middle finger completely extended. No thumb visible. It just seems more extreme that way, and if I’m actually flipping someone off I want it as extreme as possible.

An ADA told me if you give someone the finger and shake it at them it could fall under the crime of menacing.

Fly it proud and tall with the thumb tucked in tight like they did at Agincourt.

is there even photo evidence of some one flipping some one off with the thumb extended ?

Thumb tucked and fist clenched is "FUCK OFF, ASSHOLE!"
Thumb hanging out is like "If its not too much trouble, would you mind fucking off? I'm kinda mad right now. But not mad enough to put any effort into it." |

I always found it funny that a simple hand gesture triggers people so much. LOL

There is just too many unhinged people out there anymore in traffic and day to day life to flip off strangers. |

I don't knowingly remember flipping anyone the bird in traffic but I,ve been the recipient a few times from low I.Q. mouth breathers. When it happens I usually wave like a special needs person and blow them kisses, they lose their ever loving minds to that behavior!

Extended or tucked doesn’t matter but aim the middle finger down

|
Please, we are not barbarians here, tucked in of course. Do you use a spoon overhand or underhand?

No he doesn't. "An ADA" clearly isn't any of those acronyms. He's referencing a singular person. Of the 108 acronyms here there are only three that would fit that sentence structure and of those we can easily guess which is the one most likely from context. |

Hmmm for some reason I can’t even do it with my thumb extended
