Relaunch of Broncos....
Not that Land Rover "Defender" bullshit they are trying to pass off as a Bronco. |

Jeeps, broncos, Jimmys, and single-cab pickups that are not sold as status symbols. Basic, stripped-down, inexpensive off-roaders that are used for doing truck shit instead of over price pavement-pounding makeup haulers.

View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Toyota needs to apply the 1st Gen 4Runner design to the Tacoma. Maybe bob the rear end a bit and they would be competetive in the Jeep market. Subaru Cross Trek WRX version with factory lift and 235s would be fun as hell. The aftermarket has proven this concept. I bought mine as a winter econobox, but it's super fun to drive in the snow and on fire roads. |

Quoted: Relaunch of Broncos.... Not that Land Rover "Defender" bullshit they are trying to pass off as a Bronco. View Quote Id love to see a two door "XL" version with a little more storage room behind the seat, but other than that and "muh V8 and SFA" the new ones would take lunch money from any factory Bronco ever produced. |

Nissan should bring back the 280ZX. Update it with modern "stuff" but keep the exact same lines. And T-Top.

Concur on EVO and RX-7.
Bring the MX-3 back while you're at it. |

Single cab swb pickups . Stepside bed as the best option . Lowered slightly with wider wheels an tires .

Do it right, or don't do it at all.... I didn't appreciate my pig-tails being pulled when it came to Ford and how they strung us along for years about brining back the Bronco |

Quoted: First gen Nissan Xterras. Loved my 04. "Every thing you need and nothing you don't" was the slogan. Simple dash and controls. No bullshit. Plenty of power for the woods, too. I think these are still made and sold outside of the US, but in the ideal configuration: 5 speed manual 4WD with a deisel power plant. "Paladin" is what they call them if my info is correct. If these came with tip out vent windows and manual windows, they'd be more perfecter than Glock is. View Quote Yes, this. Xterra FTW. Miss my 2000. |

Quoted: That thing was robust too my wife got hit pretty hard twice in hers and it was repaired both times. They just need to get the gas tank off the ground and give it the ability to take a little taller tire. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Honda Element. It was ahead of its time, and showed up before the boxy look was accepted. Every single person that rides in ours is amazed at how much they love it. Like mama special boy, it's only ugly on the outside. My father was amazed at how much it could fit with the rear seats removed, and for it his tape measure.... other than height, it had more room than his older, midsized dodge pickup bed. Give it an extra 100hp, it would be a dream. That thing was robust too my wife got hit pretty hard twice in hers and it was repaired both times. They just need to get the gas tank off the ground and give it the ability to take a little taller tire. They can take somewhat bigger tires, I think I put 225/75/16 on mine, which is... I want to say 29". My kid is out driving it now, or I'd look. |

Industry is fine and making the best vehicles ever, not sure of the gloom and doom. 2008-2009 was the last real lean time for the industry, the remaining companies handled covid pretty drama free. This thread is "what old car that flopped did you like"?

Toyota MR2 with a turbo 4 cylinder, a 6 speed dct, make it compete with the cayman for 2/3 the price.
A fiero with the 2.0 turbo out of the cobalt ss would be fun too. |
