I too thought that Hillary had the best chance, but not so much any more. She's acting like all of the other "my turn" losers that have figured they were a shoe in and faced unexpected competition. Bernie bots hate her and she is apparently too much of an arrogant cunt to know what to do with them... you can tell she doesn't believe she should be facing this much competition at this point. She's also not very likeable and I doubt she will be able to motivate a lot of people to get off their ass and vote for her.
Meanwhile, trump is on track to set a record for the number of primary votes and despite the detractors on ARF GD and talk radio, he seems to have lit a fire under a lot of asses. A lot of republican voters have been unhappy with republican leadership and they are more than happy to see a shakeup. A lot of independents/undecided also seem to like him due to his willingness to give the finger to the status quo. I don't expect Trump to win in a landslide, but it wouldn't surprise me, either. |

I voted Trump, I can't stand progressives and more than likely will not vote for him, it will take a lot to convince me. I have been saying for a good while that Hillary is a very weak candidate. Once Obama started his rise in February 2008, he stayed hugely popular until the primary was over and Hillary never really had a shot. Bernie is going to be a thorn in Hillary's side all the way to the convention. A lot of Sanders voters want nothing to do with her and will stay home on election day in protest, despite what our resident election experts keep telling us (the same experts who've been predicting a Trump downfall since he first announced his intent to run). Around 50% of Democrat voters hate Hillary with a passion. She represents everything that is wrong with politics. There are a number of Bernie supporters who want an anti-establishment candidate and once he's gone, Trump will be the only anti-establishment option left in the race. Hillary doesn't appeal one bit to Independent and Libertarian voters like Obama did and her only real support comes from the hardcore Democrat voters in the older voting blocks. If you want to see something interesting, take a look at the number of raw votes Clinton and Sanders have received and pay attention to which states Clinton has won. She has mostly won big in states that almost always go R in the general election. In the few blue states she has won, she won by a very narrow margin so in the Democrat strongholds and swing states she needs for the general election, she's not very well liked. |
