So we have a decent collection now, and since we moved into a house with a fully finished basement, we knew a rack was a necessity. Its made with 3/4 pipe, and 2X10X12 boards. I have installed LED tape light that is dimmable.
Now I gotta figure out how to organize it. I was thinking Top Shelf, Barrel Proof, Rye, Everyday stuff, and bottom sheld/backstop? What other ways to organize is there? 14664825-693D-4448-90F9-2C5478927EDC_1_201_a by Austin Scott, on Flickr 55DB1048-5746-4EDB-881B-39E9F758BA33_1_201_a by Austin Scott, on Flickr 5F0EFBBE-9382-4313-9487-C6241B806E71_1_201_a by Austin Scott, on Flickr 2C15CE88-F1AA-4558-9F8F-EC2F2800CD82_1_201_a by Austin Scott, on Flickr 7239AF7F-DEC5-4F2C-9D6F-04B26F60CF3A_1_201_a by Austin Scott, on Flickr 5BAE4375-2A75-4CF8-BEE4-05CF46042AB5_1_201_a by Austin Scott, on Flickr 0C25849E-3A01-492F-B2F8-AB786F8A781E_1_201_a by Austin Scott, on Flickr |

I’m not much of a drinker, but that is impressive, both the collection and the shelving.

Organize by the Dewy Decimal System and make guests go to the tray of cards to pick something out.

I have some room on my shelf for those bottles on the floor.
How long did it take to fabricate and install? |

Quoted: I have some room on my shelf for those bottles on the floor. How long did it take to fabricate and install? View Quote It was about a 2 hour install, wood was cut and finished the night before. The lights took about 30 minutes to fabricate and install. It wasnt bad at all actually. |

That’s a great setup.
What’s that whistlepig store pick on the second from top shelf! |

You guys did a good job. Lighting looks great as well.
I'll drink to that success! |

Looks amazing. Very well done.
Are the long shelves just one piece of wood? Did you have to cut the pipe yourself or was that pre-cut and threaded? Thanks. |

Nice. I only have about 12 bottles I won’t open but would still be nervous about them falling off. Earthquakes happen in my AO (East TN) don’t know what part of KY you are in.
