Great Society has done terrible harm, IMHO. It was first directed at blacks, IMHO. It is now impacting all America.

I will have to agree with the War of northern agression as right up there in the top five. The way the leftist socialist twist and worm the words of our Constitution to make it what they want it to say even though it's not even close to the intention of the founders is agonizing to me. Number one on my list is the wholesale murder of millions of unborn babies over the years since roe and the black robes said that our divine Constitution somehow derived that life liberty and the pursuit of happiness meant that babies could be killed in the womb.
The Indian tribes were lied to and murdered as well. The soldiers that fought for the country were sometimes sacrificed for political purposes instead and military blunders that were politically motivated. Council of foreign relations members running government actions in the u.s. and listening to anything the United nations that is anti American has to say. Not abolishing slavery from the start of the country in the Constitution was a terrible decision. Internment camps and experiments conducted on soldiers that serve the country's military is disgraceful as well. But I have been in other countries and still glad to be from here. |

slavery. if america knew how that would turn out, it would have picked its own cotton.

World trade center, 9/11. I don't believe it was a full "inside job", but come on. Some folks somewhere knew something and allowed it to happen. I mean shit, it follows the operation Northwoods documents exact plan.
But after that, you've got Waco, poisoning alcohol, creating gun free zones resulting in unchecked murdering, limiting peasants ability to defend themselves, the spying on all citizens following the Patriot act, Tuskegee experiments, etc. And that's just the shit that we know about. Scalia's mysterious death had far reaching implications. Above all, at the moment the number one thing would be when it attacked the Confederacy that wanted to be left the fuck alone. Slavery is often cited as the reason, but the North still had slaves too, they were just less dependent due to the South doing all of the farming. |

We ended ""McCarthyism." Getting rid, blackballing of the socialist/communists. In current history, of course.
Pelosi would be managing a Cinnabonn in Lincoln, Nebraska otherwise. |

Not really. I get what you are saying.
The weakening of the electorate started with the Apportionment Act of 1911 which limited congress to now only 435 representatives. As the population grew, the power of the individual representative increased until we get people like Pelosi. People so powerful the electorate won’t/can’t get rid of them and folks living outside their districts have to deal with their bullshit. |
