Gotta die somehow.
If someone gives me the option to die relatively quickly or potentially later on down the line with $60m, I'm taking it. I'll take an m4 pattern rifle, and a second for my #2. #3 gets a PKM. See you on the other side. |
|
Idiots. Dangerous game rifles MIGHT be enough, so I'd go with that.
A pair of double guns and a scoped express, all in 505 gibbs, 500 nitro, or something along those lines. |
|
Absolutely.
Shoot dinos and retire (to come back and shoot more dinos later!) I wonder what they taste like wrapped in bacon..... As far as gun? Hmm. WWII BAR loaded with AP ammo (and plenty of reloads / spare mags) should do the trick. |

I wouldn't do it. There really is no loadout for a human on foot that is going to ensure success. Seriously. A coordinated ambush attack from multiple raptors at close quarters and I think I'm really going to stand a chance with any firearm? They won't even know what it is and what it is capable of doing to them until long after the encounter is decided. Does anyone even know how long it would take a .50 bmg to incapacitate a t-Rex with a COM hit...assuming you are even up to humping one on foot through the bush from one side of an island to the other? I suspect stealth, cover scents, night vision, flash bangs and tear gas are probably going to do more to increase your odds of survival than any man portable weapons system would. View Quote Also regarding flame throwers it seems useful but i think it would run out of fuel too quickly. And it would weigh so much youd have to sacrifice a machine gun to have it. I would be tempted but probably decline. With 8 to 10 people id probably do it though. |
|
I'd give it a go.
Suppressed SCAR17 CQCs with M993, an M-79, and a suppressed FNX-45T. Add on thermals and NVs and it should be a good time. |

Any weapon and have to walk? Sure! Attached File It is light and will cut through anything on the island. Good for hunting, defense, starting a fire, cutting down trees and makes cool sounds! And best of all. You don't have to carry extra ammo for it. View Quote |

Personally I think with 3 people and having to carry all the ammo its just not worth it. I think a .50 bmg would pretty much stop t rex but you never know. Also for the raptors a quick burst of 50 beowulf would hurt but if they dont die before they reach you their long claws would gut you. Dino bones are not very dense. Any big game rifle could brain a T-Rex. I'd worry more about club-tails and trikes, and other things with thick bone plates. But then I really want one of those regardless. Look it up and you will too. |

But u wont see cold blooded dinos right? G40 is nice View Quote *Current school of thought is birds descended from dinosaurs, dinosaurs would be bound to have at least some warm blooded traits. Of course, we can just go to Africa and find out if that's true. |

The animals can only see movement, the book applies here. I don't care what the movie says.

I'd only bring:
10lbs of beef jerky Canteen and water filter Cloak of invisibility Elder Wand Resurrection stone And a couple of hot bitches because we might stay the weekend |
|

Yes I would M-60 and 2 belts of ammo each, two Ar-10's with grenade launcher on both good to go.
Raptors in real life are about the size of a German Shepard Dog. Coming across an open area they would be easily killed by the pack. |
|
Easily. Animals have a deep rooted fear of fire. Flamethrowers and Shottys with dragons breath will convince them theres easier food around.
|
|
Not sure if its been asked but is it 60 million a piece? or 60 million total?
As stated before, some sort of flamethrower and a sonic weapon. Make enough loud noise and have flames, the predator will go elsewhere for an easier meal. |

Anybody have an idea how big the island is?
Attached File I wouldnt want to hump a 50 cal up a mountain. Maybe one M249 M79 Couple M4s Ton of medical gear and survival stuff. Thats a vague brush. Three guys carrying 100 pounds of gear and ammo each easy. Ankle breaking terrain. Probably the best way would be to evade any contacts. Ditch the belt feds and got with. Three M4s M79 and about twenty rounds of party mix for that. Then the water and survival gear. That would be a motherfucker in tropical heat. I would pay to go on this adventure, oh and my 21 year old body too. |

With the $60 Million confirmed in my account. Yes I would go for the walk. As for weapons: KSG with laser sight, mixed specials purpose rounds and #4 shot, S&W 686 200gr hardcast, all the ammo I can carry and a Parang. The other two can have whatever they want to carry. Why all the suppressor entries. Maybe would bring one but I think I would want my shit to be as loud as possible. Most animals are scared of loud noises.

Since I'm walking across a fantasy island, nothing less than a pulse rifle in the 40 watt range.
|
|
Do we each get 60 million?
If so, I'd hire two special forces guys, and tell them they'd each get 25 million extra if I make it back alive. Same would go if we each got 20 mil. 5mil extra for each if I make it back alive. If the survivors have to split it? No. Too much room for treachery. |

Yes. We are all packing M240s. That should make anything on that island fuck right the fuck off.

I would definately do it if my 2 companions ran slower than me.

|

Me and 1 companion both carrying the same load outs.
2 Barrett M82’s 8 (4 each on a belt) S&W 500 mags 2 G40’s 1 each on belt Suspenders to hold up said belt. 3rd companion gets multiple G40’s, he’s also the biggest strongest conditioned sumbitch I can find as he’s gonna be ammo mule. |
|
Everybody gets one of these.
NEOPUP PAW20.wmv Plus I guess some flashbangs and WP would be ok; but no way I'm taking shit that doesn't explode to a dinotopia. |
|
sure.. do i get to pick the companions? cuz you can bet im picking ppl tastier than I
|
|
Hell Yeah,
Assuming you can only bring three souls into the park I like the idea of a dog, but if he wasn't trained, I'm not sure how much good it would be with an unfamiliar scent I'd bring a SAW, and as much ammo as I could carry with previsions Person #2 Battle rifle or semi auto big bore, I'd have to look and see what is possible, but a 308 seems to be the smallest I'd want Person #3 Flamethrower and claymores (we're going to have to stop at some point if more than a day hike. |

a ghillie suit embedded with needles full of that poison from the dart gun in JP3
and a pistol that shot bullets containing that poison from the dart gun. I would want to be very quick and not look like food, and if they got curious and took a lick the poison would get them. |
