Watched the national news last night for the first time in 5 years.
They spent time letting me know how "powerful" the speech was and how supporting Ukraine was a great thing. They briefly mentioned the R's opposed it but didn't say why, I mean like 4 seconds total at the end of the segment in a deadpan voice. Of course they then tore into Trump via the Jan 6 BS. Talked about "explosive" revelations against him. Didn't mention exactly what was so explosive about these so called revelations, but made sure to let me know several times they were indeed explosive. |

Same for others, can Putin conscript to 1.5, arm and deploy them, demonstrate any battlefield successes, state of Russian economy with sanctions biting, his new pipelines to China not ready until 2025-2030 and if his trade partners China and India go at it how does Moscow manage arm sales to both, etc. If McCarthy and GOP trade budget deals what will they get in return? McConnel thinks a reduction in the IRS budget was worth trading off for this current budget. |

The righteous reason we are involved is because one of America's longest running enemies invaded their sovereign neighbors with the stated objective of genocide. There is no bigger righteous reason than to defeat an enemy of the US without risking our own troops' lives to do it. If you're so damned concern about America rotting from the inside, maybe you should take a look in the mirror to see where the inability to see morality comes from. Rotting from the inside indeed. |
