Chart is retarded. It has Mounds and Almond joy, but no Milkyway?
WTF |

<= Belgian.
That's candy. Not chocolate. EDIT Having sampled many a Hershey from your PX'es, they are in general too sweet. Way to much sugar, not enough cocoa. If you want good regular plain chocolate, in Belgium you can go Cote d'or, Callebaut, Jaqcues. Swiss Lindt or Cailler. If you want good pralines, in Belgium you can go Leonidas, Godiva, Neuhaus. Swiss pralines, meh. Just go Belgian. |

Toblerine master race checking in. Milk and dark are both good. Although not a fan of white chocolate, the white chocolate Toblerone is pretty good too.

Quoted: I don't want to sound like some raging Eurosnob asshole, but I genuinely feel bad for American kids who are fed swill like Hershey's chocolate, and think they are eating good chocolate. View Quote Lindt has my vote. I love their milk chocolate. I see Hershey's as the McDonald's of Chocolate. Household name but quality went through the floor. |

I don't eat chocolate and would never date or marry anyone who did. Chocolate smells bad and causes cancer.

Reese's doesn't count as a chocolate bar, but it's the best chocolate candy.

Quoted: Easily the best chocolate I've ever had, and I've had stuff from all over the world. I love Milka, Ritter Sport Alpine, and Lindt chocolate too. https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/41OSTlWdvOL.jpg View Quote I have never seen that, and I've been here in Saudi for 8 years. I now have a mission to seek it out. Thanks. |

Quoted: #10 - Heath I was never a big fan of white chocolate but there was something about the Zero bar that I use to really like. https://external-content.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftse1.mm.bing.net%2Fth%3Fid%3DOIP.IxEsGPVgxGaZfTSv3iO94gHaHa%26pid%3DApi&f=1 View Quote One of my favorite candy bars, although I haven't had one in over 15 years as I'm overseas. BTW: Whoever decided to put PGPR (Polyglycerol polyricinoleate) into chocolate needs to be taken out and shot. It's like eating plastic. The waxy shit was bad, but I really hate the texture that PGPR lends to chocolate. The fact it's derived from the source of ricin, castor plants, doesn't really give me a great mental image if I see it on the label, either. Yes, it's a great emulsifier and makes it smooth, but the mouth feel, to me, is just plain WRONG. |

This thread is lacking.....
The best chocolate bar is the one that is wrapped in tasty tasty bacon. Thick cut applewood smoked bacon to be precise. |

Sadly, the best is unobtanium and has been for many moons.
The Marathon bar ruled ALL and anybody that says different is a filthy communist. |

Quoted: @kpel308 I've only seen it at the Duty Free stores in Kuwait and Dubai, and a big stand in the Dubai Mall under the Burj; though amazon may have it too. View Quote Thanks. I'll take a look at the Duty Free shops at DMM, DXB, and BAH next time I go home to the Philippines, whenever that is. I was supposed to fly home Tuesday, but leave is cancelled due to the PI being closed to foreigners like me at the moment. |

From that shit list, 8. Best American bar you can find in a random store is Hershey Symphony. Most European chocolate is better.
