i think its russia..... im having trouble deciding what the biggest problem is.... over fast motorcycles with no clue... or speeding cars, making random tuns for no reason..

insane... no way would i want to drive there.. much less ride a bike.

lots of pretty graphic wrecks... so, prob not safe for work.

WTF?!?!  are there no traffic laws at all/? people just randomly turning, doing u turns, stopping... running stop signs, or no stop signs...pedestrians getting run down by bikes... bikes getting run down by cars, cars getting run down by trucks.   holy shit..... its like a traffic free for all over there.   real life fucking mad max..

the wreck at 3;50 is pretty cool though....

Russia?

HELL NO!

You'd have to be certifiable.

Yeah, that one at 3:50 was crazy.

That's a little over 10 minutes of why I don't own a motorcycle.

I see a lot of motorcycle rider error in those.. and some driver error too.

#1 reason I quit riding. That said about 60-70% of those were the riders fault and were preventable if the people on the bikes payed more attention and slowed down.

I didn't keep a tally, but it seems about 50% of the time it was the motorcyclist's fault, and 50% the driver's fault.

Interesting how many people have Go Pros.

A lack of traffic laws don't look like the main problem, it looks like no one gives a fuck what's in front of them.

Maybe they need louder pipes?

Sold my bike after living in Clearwater and almost getting creamed by blue hairs running red lights on more than one occasion.

So when two motorcyclists collide, do they still blame the 'cagers'?

Nothing would persuade me to ride a street bike these days. Nothing.

Off-road on a dirt bike is another matter, entirely.

I learned how to ride a motercycle in Nepal. I hopped on a Honda NX Tornado 250 for what was basically my first time ever in downtown Khatmandu and proceeded to ride into the foothills of the Himalayan mountains with my friends.

It was an absolutely incredible experience that I was lucky to survive

The law of tonnage applies to all disputes of right of way i.e. you yield to a vehicle with higher mass. That car barreling towards you? He has right of way! That dump truck about to cut the car off? He has right of way! Pedestrians?  Ignore'em they will navigate through traffic around you. So many awesome experiences on that trip. You haven't lived until you have gotten stuck between a Indian made bus and a Russian made truck on a twisty mountain road... That moment when I decided to pass and the road kept getting narrower, and narrower, and narrower... The wine of engine in the thin air... The shear drop off... And suddenly clearing the front of the bus just in time.

yeah, cager4life

that said, it looks like the vast majority of what happened in the five minutes I watched was due to riders driving way to fast/and or not driving defensively at all.

A motorcycle cop that I know , quit the force entirely due to escaping death a couple of times.   I visited him in the ERs a couple of times and asked him each time when was he going to give it up .   With his blue lights on and siren on a rich bitch pulled out in front of him.   Bad part was her lawyer snake got her off.
After his wife had twin girls he gave it up .   Riding and law enforcement.

At least one of those collisions involved a semi broadsiding a motorcycle. I suspect that it didn't end well for the rider and his passenger.

Edit: Unless you have a very dark sense of sarcasm.

1. Apparently very few traffic laws
2. High rates of speed
3. A country famous for conspicuous alcohol consumption

What could possibly go wrong?

No way . I am not sure I would ride in a car over there without a cage and a firesuit . traffic lights and lines in the road appear to be vague suggestions
