I like the one with the girl driving the out-of-control moped with her boyfriend on the back, runs into a car with a guy playing "I can't drive 55" at the time of the accident.

Yeah, that one at 3:50 was crazy.
That's a little over 10 minutes of why I don't own a motorcycle. |
I see a lot of motorcycle rider error in those.. and some driver error too.
#1 reason I quit riding. That said about 60-70% of those were the riders fault and were preventable if the people on the bikes payed more attention and slowed down.
I didn't keep a tally, but it seems about 50% of the time it was the motorcyclist's fault, and 50% the driver's fault.
Interesting how many people have Go Pros. |
A lack of traffic laws don't look like the main problem, it looks like no one gives a fuck what's in front of them.
Maybe they need louder pipes? |
It's probably no worse than some of the stuff that happens here, but holy cow - that was BRUTAL to watch. I would say in HALF the cases it was the fault of the motorcycle rider. It's crazy how careless some of them were. Several fatalities in there for sure.

Have a friend going next year
he is bound and determined to rent a HD and ride around Moscow just to say that he did |
Yelp, confirmation I'm not getting a motorcycle I'll stick to my 4 wheeled cage |

Hell, I don't even feel safe riding them in this country. Especially Florida. Sold my bike after living in Clearwater and almost getting creamed by blue hairs running red lights on more than one occasion. |
So when two motorcyclists collide, do they still blame the 'cagers'?
Nothing would persuade me to ride a street bike these days. Nothing.
Off-road on a dirt bike is another matter, entirely. |
They are not just from Russia, at 1:35 the road sign says I-25 Fort Collins.

I learned how to ride a motercycle in Nepal. I hopped on a Honda NX Tornado 250 for what was basically my first time ever in downtown Khatmandu and proceeded to ride into the foothills of the Himalayan mountains with my friends.
It was an absolutely incredible experience that I was lucky to survive The law of tonnage applies to all disputes of right of way i.e. you yield to a vehicle with higher mass. That car barreling towards you? He has right of way! That dump truck about to cut the car off? He has right of way! Pedestrians? Ignore'em they will navigate through traffic around you. So many awesome experiences on that trip. You haven't lived until you have gotten stuck between a Indian made bus and a Russian made truck on a twisty mountain road... That moment when I decided to pass and the road kept getting narrower, and narrower, and narrower... The wine of engine in the thin air... The shear drop off... And suddenly clearing the front of the bus just in time. |
Damn, some of those were pretty bad. The one were the guy ended up sitting on the roof of the car was pretty cool though.
Man some of those were really bad. Like the 9 min mark guy that gets plowed by the van right after crashing into the opened car door
I stopped watching after less than a minute in because it looked like a helmet rolling around with a head in it that was no longer attached to body
Just think of all the money Regan spent on the military when all he had to do to defeat the USSR would have been to send a few hundred motorcycles to the Kremlin… |
I would like to ride a motorcycle across Russia.
I have already seen Montana, so there's that. |
I'd love to ride in Russia, but I avoid heavy traffic here so it'd be the same there as here.
Damn that nearly makes me rethink this riding stuff! Enough idiots in this country already
notta chance. Or at least not at those speeds.
As a motorbike rider, that video is frightening to me. |
View Quote I have zero sympathy for idiots like this that get hurt or killed. Darwin awards in the works. |
The one at 1:30 happened in the US. The car the biker hit was a rental of a guy on vacation IIRC.

A motorcycle cop that I know , quit the force entirely due to escaping death a couple of times. I visited him in the ERs a couple of times and asked him each time when was he going to give it up . With his blue lights on and siren on a rich bitch pulled out in front of him. Bad part was her lawyer snake got her off.
After his wife had twin girls he gave it up . Riding and law enforcement. gd |

A large number of those crashes look like the rider's fault.
Hide the license plates and mute the volume and this could be mistaken for Florida.
It also proves the left turns are the worst no matter where you are in the world
1. Apparently very few traffic laws
2. High rates of speed 3. A country famous for conspicuous alcohol consumption What could possibly go wrong? |
I ain't driving a goddamn thing in Russia...they're all drunks.
No way . I am not sure I would ride in a car over there without a cage and a firesuit . traffic lights and lines in the road appear to be vague suggestions
