Olivia/Sandy in Grease

Grease - You're The One That I Want [HQ+Lyrics]

For overall looks and lifestyle, a better fit would be Annette Benning/Sue from Open Range. If she'd be willing to move away from town, she'd be what I wish I had right now.

That brings up another option.  Olivia Newton John in Xanadu.    Talk about potential inlaw problems.

I'll go with Wedding Crashers. Her family looked loaded. Plus, you get Christopher Walken as a father in law.

Jennifer Aniston horrible bosses. Probably the sexiest woman alive and a timeless beauty. In this movie She is a sex addict and apparently very wealthy with a stable dentistry practice. So yeah pretty much my perfect woman right here.

that is not Sharon Stone from Basic Instinct

OP's question was not the actress, but the character the actress played in a given movie.

Julia Roberts movie star character from Notting Hill
She's attractive, rich, funny, and a devoted romantic.
There's a downside to fame but I could deal with it.

Maureen O'Hara from The Quiet Man
Beautiful redhead with a bit of fire to her personality. Old school loyal devoted to her man.
You just need a strong personality to keep her respect. Pussies need not apply

You and I are about the same ago.

When I was younger, not knowing if I was going to be awoken to an alarm clock BJ or a knife at my throat  was pretty hot.

But now, 49 year old me doesn't want to wake up to a knife/gun/shiv etc. I've already got enough crap to deal with.

Yeah, see, he doesn't know how to play by the rules so his answer is automatically forfeit.

I would answer Jessica Alba from Good Luck Chuck where she was the perfect "girl next door", even if she was a tad accident prone.

Close #2 would be Fantastic Four Jessica Alba. Having a wife that was smart and could go invisible could be handy.

No interest in dealing with the drama of Dark Angel or Sin City Jessica Alba.

ETA: I see Jdub16 answered almost the same way but he's a 13er and I have rank.

There are too many choices.
Its hard to beat Barbara Eden as Jeannie, Victoria Principal in Vigilante Force, Karen Allen in Raiders, or go old school with Gene Tierney in the Ghost & Mrs Muir or Debbie Reynolds in Goodbye Charlie, etc etc...
I'd need to sample each before making a decision
