Sounds like a story that you might get a chuckle out of one day. |

Dog okay?
It's a golf cart. Who cares if the frame is bent? Keep driving it! You needed an alignment anyway... |
|
Probably a relatively easy fix. When I wrecked mine it was less than 1k to repair the front end.

My buddy says:
"You should be charged with reckless endangerment due to the bald tire. Not to mention the cruelty to animals. " |
|
Poor pupper. My nephew at about that age totalled his dad's golf cart.

Ouch. I have an EXGO and I know what they cost. Wonder if your home owners insurance covers that?
I was gonna suggest making the 11 year old work it off but then, dags primary job is to be lovable and he looks like he already works overtime on that. |
|
My bet is he would have been fine if the front suspension wasn't out of alignment to start with.....

|
You probably should have drug tested him. You might have another Walt on your hands

I like dogs but I don’t worship them. That said, as long as the dogs are okay, all is well.
You can get another cart. You can never really replace a devoted companion even if they suck at driving. |
|
Take the frame to your local backyard farm welder fix it guy.
He will pound it straight and weld some angle iron or tubing across any cracks. As others have said it doesn't have to be perfect. Hope the pup turns out ok |

I would expect a golf cart to have front suspension similar to an economy riding lawn mower.
Your golf cart has independent front suspension with double an arms and coil over springs on gas charged shocks. That thing was made for hitting sweet jumps and getting all squirrely coming out of the turns. Junior was just using the product as intended by the manufacturer. Use the insurance money to upgrade to a sxs. |

In the drivers defense, we can see by tire wear patterns that the alignment was out of whack on the right front. The inside tread is completely bald. Kinda hard to control while fishtailing on bad front tires. The grass was probably a bit wet too

Quoted: he is upset his cart is trashed. he has bad hips and riding on the cart was the highlight of his day View Quote Sounds like our dogs. They have claimed ownership of our Ranger 1000 SxS. If they hear the keys for it (somehow they know the difference) or get an inkling that we are going to drive it, they grab their harness and wait at the door whimpering like crazy. If we open the side door and garage door, they hurry up, jump in, get in their spots and will not move till they get a ride. Sometimes I have to take them for a few spins around our property just to satisfy them. |

Oof. Looks like a Navitas upgraded RXV?
The good news is you can probably find a good one with no batteries for a couple thousand bucks and go lithium next time. |

My ex used to live in a town that had over 100 miles of golf cart trails. 2 of her kids crashed carts and 1 had to go to court over it. I also had a drunk neighbor rear end my parked car.

I am going with that bald front tire as a contributing factor. He probably also missed his driver education class.

Golden Retrievers really are goofy dogs. Glad he's going to be OK, sorry you have to deal with his mischief and damages to your buggy
