Model 1919 belt fed so I can turn my pickup truck into a technical.
Wait, you said impractical. |

Colt R75A: The Last Commercial BAR (With Shooting) The R75A over the Monitor for the quick change barrel TBH as I assume this comes with all the ammo too , would consider adding a cutts compensator for the Monitor look however. |
|
Barrett M82A1 or Serbu BFG50A
I had a bolt action 50 but the juice wasn’t worth the squeeze. Fun but completely impractical. At least a semiauto .50 stacked full of Raufoss or SLAP can swiss-cheese an MRAP urban assault vehicle pretty good. All in all though, I’d rather have a crate of grenades. While 50BMG sends a pretty well defined “fuck you in particular” kind of message; grenades and claymores are much more of a “to whom it may concern...” kind of ordeal. |

HK USC .45
The 10 round mags kill the deal and I am not paying big bucks to convert it. |

A GE Minigun PLUS all the ammo I need to melt the barrels....

Big Horn Armory .500S&W
SBR lever actions. I ordered a RPP .22 handguard that I want to get a Henry mares leg for, totally tacfuck the hell out of it. Double barrel rifles in revolver cartridges, particularly .44. |
|
Every gun in this thread. Had a 4" 500 S&W. It was pretty impractical.

1896-1898 manufacture Mauser 1896 pistol - legal antique, sails past no gun signs b/c it's not a Title 1 firearm - but huge for CC and quite impractical. But I love the legal advantages of antiques.

I already have a matchlock musket and am currently trying to acquire a wheellock pistol.

Quoted: Amy 50BMG I have nowhere to shoot it past 200 yards View Quote Quoted: After shooting an M82A1, I am going to have to go with that. View Quote Quoted: Barrett M82A1 or Serbu BFG50A I had a bolt action fifty but the juice wasn’t worth the squeeze. View Quote Doooooo eeeeeeeeeeet! Fifty is all about the boom and breaking shit, you don't need to be 1000yds away to break cool shit, even 50-100 is fine - though depending on the shit you're breaking, you might want to be on the upper end of that |

I came very close to buying a CZ550 Safari Mag in .458 Lott 2 years ago.
That was before it succumbed to yet another of CZ's unannounced discontinuations. |

Interdynamic MP-9, with the factory forward grip and wire stock.

|
A finely made high end 45/70 double rifle.
Not impractical in itself but because I really have no real need to tie up that much money and would just like it for shits and giggles |

Quoted: .303 Lewis Gun. View Quote I almost bought one of those. When I bought my Madsen, there was also a Lewis gun in the auction (I think. Maybe it was the previous auction), and the estimate for it was not very high. I think it sold for about $20K. Of course, with my fascination with Danish guns, I had to have the Madsen, but I was seriously thinking about the Lewis gun, because it is one of the coolest looking guns ever made. If I had bought the Lewis gun instead of the Madsen, then I would have been the winner of Project Lightening, as opposed to second place. |

There are many.
STG57 BM59 alpine Solothurn GM6 Lynx .50 Just for starts. |
|
Naturally, any belt fed/artillery/grenade type weapon.
Most impractical that I currently own? Maxim .50. Who doesn't need a non-NFA suppressed muzzle loader? |
|
Desert Eagle, SPAS-12, Street Sweeper, Barrett 50BMG, MAC-10, KG-9
