10mm is best milimeter. Says Ted Nugent on Louder with Crowder. The science is settled. I guess I should list my G26 in the EE.

10mm Kurz does NOT count.

Well, the most objective battery of test conducted to date (by the FBI) indicated that 10mm was best millimeter followed closely by 45 ACP and distantly by 9mm.

So I concur.

Ted still has a butt after NDing a 10mm in his holster so it can't be that great

Not sure that the 10mm is the 'best' but for our own reasons we have 4 Glock 10mm handguns.  We do like them and they fit in to our life style just fine!

10mm is best for wealthy people. Most can't afford to shoot it so 45 or 9mm will do just fine if you can shoot. If you miss with a 10mm, it doesn't do a fucking thing. Put three 9's in the target, it will count.

So are we settling on a daily 10mm GD thread? Is that what we are doing? 'cause if thats what we are doing, I'm ok with it.

in like 1987.  Projectile technology has come a LONG way in 30 years.

properly loaded 10mm is a more powerful round than 9mm no doubt.

1) few 10mm loads are loaded to potential because of girly wrists
2) the gap between 9mm and 45 acp is mostly non-existent now.

More accurate with my glock 10mm than my glock 9mm.  I carry the 9mm only because it's more compact and am willing to compromise power for convenience and concealment.

Ah yes, the cartridge everyone says they want but very few actually buy or actively shoot.

My favorite example was/is the Kriss Vector. Everyone was totally going to buy the 10mm version if they ever made one!!! Then they did and... well... I don't see a lot of 10mm Kriss Vectors out there.

i was excited by the vector... then i saw that 45 and 9mm versions were cracking, the ejection port was being worn down by normal fire bc its plastic, etc. Didnt think it would hold up to hot 10mm, esp handloads, therefore nope.

Price wise..  You can shoot 10mm for the ball park of .45 if you shop around for ammo and buy in bulk..

But an 10mm mpx would  be the shit! But will never happen ..  they can even get it out in the calibers they promised... lol

Ahhh, the magic bullet technology argument...which benefited only 9mm and 380.  MK.

Shoot what you feel is right for you; I'll do the same (and they both start with 4).

A 180gr bullet fired at 950 fps out of a Glock 29 is way more powerful than a 180gr bullet fired at 950 fps out of a Glock 27.
