I need a small 12V compressor for filling tires.
There seems to be a ton of them in the $10-$35 price range. Can anyone recommend a good one. Recommendations of what to avoid help too. Thanks. |

This MF'er is a great little compressor:MV50 It's available different places at around $60. It does not plug into the cigarette lighter, it clips directly to the battery and draws about 25 amps. |

There is an entire thread at Jeep Forum going back a couple years singing the praises of this compressor. I have mine mounted under hood and it airs up four 33" tires from 10psi to 28psi in just a few minutes. The only thing better is a York On Board Air set up. I bought my MV50 at the local auto parts store for $29. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=378082 |
