I have known this girl for 10+ years. We have never really been in a relationship other than a short time when we were 16 or 17, but have always stayed in contact with each other and I've always considered her a close friend. She has lived out of state for the last several years and recently got a job here and decided to move back. It was on short notice so I offered to let her and her daughter stay with me until she found a place. She told me shortly before she moved in that she was interested in dating me. We gave it a shot and it didn't work out. It only lasted around a month. Nothing bad, I think we have just been in the friend zone too long. Six months later she is still living in my house. I'm pretty sure she is dating someone else. I haven't asked and don't really care as long as she's not bringing him over. We don't really even hang out or talk to each other anymore and I feel like I'm starting to dislike her more every day. She does help with the bills and I do care about her so I can't really just kick her out on her ass, especially with her daughter, but it's getting old having her there. How do I get her the fuck out of my house without ruining the friendship? Is it even possible? I know I'm posting this in GD so I expect the normal bs but any real advice would be appreciated. Sorry, no pics. That probably wouldn't be a very good idea as I think she may have a family member on the site. |

She's walking all over you and probably has zero respect for you.
Sucks it worked out like that, nice of you to let her and kid live with you for a while. But now is the time for her to move on so you can move on and actually have a life. Give her a time frame, say two months max, and she has to be gone. She took advantage of your kindness, don't let it go on any further. At least that's how I see it and of course there are exceptions to thhe rule but you didn't mention any. |
|
Quoted: Sit her down and explain things, tell her you want her out, you should set up a time line, if you have been friends for 10 yrs, I would think this shouldn't be that hard. Does she make enough to get her own place? |

Hokie nailed it
your not really as "good friends" as you think you are. give her until end of july to GTFO no room for guilt-trips ps that whole lets be friends thing... is a wet dream pps depending on what state you live in she may break your stones with squatters rights stuff, in NY its 30 or more {DAYS} requires court ordered eviction {edited for clarity & too much whiskey} |
|
Quoted: Not anymore. You would think I could at least get the occasional bj for my hospitality right? Quoted: Quoted: Are y'all at least fucking? Tell her BJs or the streets, her call. Report back here for an AAR. ![]() |

She'll leave. |

Tell her you're seeing a new woman and she would not be cool with a female roommate. Either she'll understand, try to win you back, or be a bitch. 1. She understands - you get her the fuck out 2. She tries to win you back - you fuck her and tell her to get the fuck out 3. She just be's a bitch - you tell her to get the fuck out after bitch slapping her |

Her with you or you with her, either way, you need your space back. Tell her this might be THE ONE ! Please, help me out and find a place....... And, I want you to meet her if it all works out. Please, please don't spoil my chance at true love.... |

Quoted: I'd go with this. Get a friend to randomly call you and pretend to be a super cool chick you're totally crushing on. Tell her it's getting serious and she needs to leave. New girl and you might be interested in living together. Her with you or you with her, either way, you need your space back. Tell her this might be THE ONE ! Please, help me out and find a place....... And, I want you to meet her if it all works out. Please, please don't spoil my chance at true love.... She makes enough to get her own place. It just seems like she isn't interested in doing it. A timeline seems like a good idea. Last time I brought up her getting own place it turned into an argument. She tried to make it about me not liking her daughter which is not the case. I could get her out. I'm just looking for a way to salvage the friendship too. Quoted:

Does she make enough to get her own place? Hmmm... welfare? It sounds like you don't have a friendship now. End it before that weird Somalian common law marriage stuff comes into play, your wallet gets emptied, and your gun rights are jeopardized... not necessarily in that order. |

This is honestly what it's starting to look like to me too. That's pretty fucked up if that's the case. I just wouldn't have expected it from her. Quoted:

She knows she is behaving badly here, which is why she got hostile and argumentative when you tried to talk about it last time. She is in the wrong, and a lot of people will lash out at the person who did the most for them when they are put on the spot like that. It sucks, but that is "human nature" for a large percentage of people, or there would not be such sayings as "no good deed goes unpunished" floating around. Talk again, tell her she has until x date to be out. Be polite, but be firm. And you should not even think about getting frisky with her if she tries to start up with you again...that way leaves you open to all sorts of unpleasant allegations, if she wants to go that route, or possible fatherhood, to name only two possible outcomes. |

I had a friend in the same situation except he was baby sitting the kid while the mom went and got laid, wasnt long and she was bringing guys back to their house and fucking them while he was watching her kid. he finally got some self respect and ended up being the one to leave.. |

She's washing some other guys cum down your shower. Why are you letting her do that? Tell her she has a month to get out. Clean shower/tub really good. That sums it up. |
