The new Para extractor will not fit a standard 1911 My Grandfathers WWI ( yeah, I meant One) 1911 extractor still works fine. So does my current IPSC/IDPA 1911, even after several tens of thousand rounds. A properly tuned 1911 extractor works fine. The new style extractors are easier to mass produce because you don't have to train anyone to properly tension one during assembly. |
