Do those repairs add up to more than the car is worth?

You can replace a battery pretty easily, unless you have to take a tire/fender off Ala Corvette or something?

Valve cover gaskets $285.00 Yeah, I would pay this to not have to deal with that cramped engine compartment.
- Double Platinum Spark Plugs and clean throttle body $ 146.00 Something I would do myself for much much cheaper that this. Looks like you just pop coils off each plug and replace. 5-8 dollars each for expensive ones. 8 bucks for a can of carb cleaner and use some paper towels.
- Inner tie rod bushings $ 240.00 Yeah... $200.00ish probably about what I would pay.
- Hood supports $ 146.00 - $17.74 each Do yourself... Should be stupid easy...

- Replace battery $ 168.00 $100.00ish Dollar battery from WalMart. Do Yourself. It's one of those inner fender well jobbies but shouldn't be hard.

-Recondition Headlamps $150.00 bleh... I just replaced the entire assembly on the wife's car for $98.00 dollars for both. See if you can find them cheap for yours if you care that much about it.

Platinum spark plugs, are you kidding ?
repair on THAT vehicle is a good soak with  5 gallons of gasoline, and a lit strike anywhere match.

hood supports are all over the place on price $40-$120 for a pair on most vehicles
you under that hood that much? use a stick

$150 to restore the headlights......for a few months
DIY for a $20 or so
after doing mine several times I wet sanded and shot clear on them

ETA: as mentioned platinum spark plugs for the most part are a gimmick
just a plain set of plugs will work for your application
and if its a crappy shop probably are all  your getting anyway for the price of "platinum, quadruple tip, super ceramic, ultralong, filtered"

ETA2: what is your mechanical skill level? all those repairs are pretty low-medium on the skill level
the majority of your cost would just be in a new battery

Fair prices or not fair prices?

Valve cover gaskets $285.00---decent price

- Double Platinum Spark Plugs and clean throttle body $ 146.00...do it yourself. The plugs are less then $30 total. Easy to change. Double platinums are not a gimmick if the car requires them. Cleaning TB is spray some O2 safe cleaner in the TB opening & let it sit. Start engine. Or use some seafoam.

- Inner tie rod bushings $ 240.00----decent price

- Hood supports $ 146.00---Less then $40 online or in a parts store, easy DIY, just unhook the old & install the new.

- Replace battery $ 168.00---again easy DIY replace. Or go to sears & let them sell you a die hard & install it for around $100.

-Recondition Headlamps $150.00---Waste of $ any & all kits out there will haze again, store bought included. Even with wet sanding. Just spend some $ now & buy replacement light assemblies off Ebay.

Does this Concord have the 2.7L or 3.5l engine?  If it's the 2.7....I'd opt to not fix it.
The 3.5 is a great engine though. Had a 00 300M. I know that engine well.
