Post one photo of your favorite memory from 2013 with a short description (one sentence).

My favorite would be my daughter winning Miss Kanawha Valley Majorette and Miss Majorette of West Virginia as a freshmen beating 33 other twirlers for the title.

Beautiful girl. As a father with daughters, congratulations and condolences.

Hard to pick just one, gonna have to dwell on that for a minute...
ETA: Okay, of the moments I actually have pics of, probably this one.

Just after New Year's last year, only WDW trip we made in 2013, first day in the parks, turned out to be a great week for us.

Finished College, wife bought me the 1911 I have always wanted!

Least favorite memory: Lost my Grandmother and Grandfather (different sides of family). They were some of the genuinely best people I have ever known.

Don't have a pic, but I can tell you it was April 2013 when I was declared cancer free (after my last chemo in March). My second best was in October when I was able to do an overnight backpack trip with my son's scout troop.

My favorite pic from 2013 is of my best friend's mom's 85th birthday party. Hard-working lovely lady--a real handful!--who's given me many happy memories.

2013 was a rough year.

Had to put my dog down in May…work was very stressful…and to top it off, the fishing this year was just off.

2014 is already looking up.

We close on a house on Valentine's day, the wife just started a new job making more money than she was before, and today, my brother just had a new baby girl.

I am glad 2013 is over…and am looking forward to this year.
