[ARCHIVED THREAD] - 2015 Chrysler 200 (Page 1 of 2)
A Chrysler with an Italian engine and a 9 speed transmission... What could possibly go wrong?
Just wait until you see the base model. You know, the one with plastic wheel covers, cloth seats, and filler in place of all those buttons. Those are the ones they'll sell, and they're coming to a rental fleet near you. |

I'm pretty sure they will be selling the ones with all the options since that's where they make most of their money. If people prefer to buy a stripped down model, that's on them. |

You got me on the first bit. It's the MultiAir 2 valve train that's Italian in origin. As far as that second bit goes, they'll try to sell well equipped models, but I'm betting that can only be done with the usual incentives. Consumers will keep buying Camrys, Accords, and Fusions. "Chrysler 200" isn't even a name on the radar of the sort of people that buy these sedans. |

Nice car, the interior is a knockout for this class. AWD standard on V6 with 295hp...nice overall effort. Looks as good if not better than most cars in its class. I have a similar two-tone on my last gen 300... A word of advice. If getting a two tone interior, get the dark color on the BOTTOM. They're great looking as an interior, but lighter colors show scuffs and dirt very easily. |

THIS is the problem. Maybe if Honda built it and had their dealers support it... TC Quoted:

Nearly 300hp, AWD and a ton of high tech features. If its reliable and does decent on gas it might be good for Chrysler. THIS is the problem. Maybe if Honda built it and had their dealers support it... TC Please.....Modern Chrysler cars are plenty reliable. Look it up. And Honda....From an import guy Honda quality has SUCKED the last 5 years. |

Looks like every other car out there. No shit ... Every time I see a post like this that says "looks good" I come in a see another cookie cutter body. Yip, throw a Hyundai or Kia badge and none would be the wiser, hell even the bigger names like BMW, Mercedes are ugling up their cars. |

Umm apparently if you check all the option boxes this thing is $38,000
That'll sell. No kidding. 2014 Lexus ES330 starts at $36,620. But I'm sure some Chrysler leg-humper will say it's unfair to compare a "base Lexus" to a loaded Chrysler. As if the Lexus comes with crank windows and no A/C. Acura TL starts at $36,020, btw. |
