How long before we get the final National vote count totals so that we can definitely call the popular vote? If the current trend continues, it will be a great counter to all of the social media discussions currently in the limelight. |

Doesn't matter: -millions of Mexican illegals voted in places like California. -millions of dead people voted in places like Chicago. |

My thoughts as well. |
| Something a lot of the SJW's and pundits are either too stupid to realize or too dishonest to admit: Trump's team of advisors understood the Electoral College system and the electorate a Hell of a lot better than the Hildabeast's. Had winning depended on the popular vote, Team Trump would have attacked the problem differently. Recall that Trump was criticized by some "experts" for his rally schedule, concentrating his efforts in some states rather than others, and even completely ignoring some states. |

I have used this in my arguments as well. It will just be nice if the final numbers show a win in both columns. |
| Either way the popular vote is going to be less than .5% margin. Its been a long time since I've taken a statistics class, but I'm pretty sure the error rate would be pretty close to that if not higher. I'm betting it would be a statistical tie, or at least an invalid outcome. |

This. If they did a full verification recount like they did in Florida a while ago.... you probably would be shocked to find out that trump would have the popular vote by the magnitude of millions. |

Both candidates ran their campaigns based on the electoral college...end of fucking story. This exactly. I've been trying to come up with a good analogy for those that don't seem get this. This is the best I've come up with: What if Roger Goodell, at the end of the regular season of football decided to disregard win/loss records, skip the playoffs and Superbowl and award the Superbowl trophy and rings to the team with the most points? Wouldn't the other teams and fans cry foul? Of course they would because their team strategies would've been different through out the season. There would be no playing it safe at the end of games to ensure a win. There would less of a reason to stop the other team from scoring if you're ahead (the faster the offense gets the ball, the faster you can score again). The whole game would be played differently. The same goes for the election. Every voter in the nation knew the election would be decided by the electoral college before the election began. Every candidate knew the election would be decided by the electoral college before they began their campaigns. The election played out with these laws in place. How differently would the campaigns have been run if the popular vote decided the election? How many democrats stayed home from the polls knowing their state always goes blue. How many republicans did the same? The popular vote argument is nonsense. |

Why don't you just remind the idiots that Obama lost the popular vote in 2012 to Romney and it's odd that they didn't seem to have a problem with the EC then.
I guess I misremembered - in 2012 Romney would have been Prez if EC votes were proportional instead of winner take all. My bad |
