I have
12+ years at the current employer
2 years Mass DOC
6 Months Veterans Affairs Police/Security
3 years US Army MP.

People still try and bust my chops because they say I look young.........................

It's like that Van Halen song "Best of Both Worlds".

They're gonna have to figure out a better way to mount that holster & PR -24  on Ryann's walker...

I'm 48-I had 6 years LE in another state before I came here. I can leave in my 55th year with a damn good payout, we have this system called DROP where you actually retire from the pension, and the money you'd be receiving instead goes to our DROP account.  I'll retire at 54 and a half because my b-days in July, but as said earlier we only have to stay until our 55th year.   I start DROP October 1, and by it's projection I can actually leave making more money than I had working, although retirees really get screwed on medical insurance costs.

God Love ya........that couldn't have been easy.

I'll be 48 with 25 on.........The rear hatch of the barracks will have a neatly cut out impression of me running, ala Saturday morning cartoons!!!!!!!!

ETA:  That's supposed to say "Heracletus" below....tried fixing it twice but as a tech-retard, I'm obviously meeting with difficulty
