This movie was weak.

I agree it was weak. As a soldier, I was insulted that the Army was portrayed as that inept. They couldn't even post a guard to watch the chick who was carrying the virus? They gave the (glorified) janitor access to everything? They locked the people into a small room without any supervision or security? A soldier addressing a female officer as "sir?" Its on HBO right now and I can't even watch it past the initial outbreak... |

that sceen did definatelly suck, the movie was not that great, that said i saw it in the theatre twice and bought it the morning it came out on dvd. but i'm a total F'n sucker for anything "zombie(the "28" series are not actually zombie movies)" related... |

This movie was better then the movie I watched that began with a zombie rabbit, and then a female nurse intern was chasing it through the woods alone with no tools or supplies of any kind. I don't remember the name of it, but it was a straight up college film I think. |

I turned it off because it was so predictable. Kid has 2 colored eyes, it's genetic, he gets it from his mother...Virus must affect these people differently or else they wouldn't talk about it in the movie, mother must still be alive, mother must carry virus to create another outbreak, Face Stabber must turn off TV to prevent brain melting and leaking out of ear. |
+1 All of those things you mentioned pissed me off. |

It was ok as far as movies go. Some nits to pick: If the solution to outbreak in #2 was bombing England, why didn't they do that in the first movie? If by helicopter scene you mean where the pilot skims across the ground, slicing people up with the rotors, then yeah, pretty lame. Why DID the janitor have access to the whole place? Question: if the Brits enjoyed the RKBA as we do in America, would 28 Days Later have even happened? I suppose anti-gun meccas like LA, NYC, DC, and Chicago would have some problems given population density and lack of self-defense options (i.e., guns), but would states like PA, VA, AZ, and TX have the same problems? |
