Since the 2A is a right, why are we required to pay money for a background check? I feel like it oppresses poor, legal gun owners from their constitutional right. If they can't afford the fees for the background check and license then they can't carry a gun? That seems like an overreach of government power that only allows the people that can afford the government fee to lawfully protect themselves. The rest are shit out of luck.

The powers that be are smart. They are oppressing us little by little instead of outright stripping us of our weapons which would result in us using them to protect ourselves from tyranny. In a few generations there will be no more guns

There is simply no such thing as "reasonable" regulations on constitutional rights.
