Stopped by Oly Arms today to pick up a stripped lower and they are so busy it was going to be maybe 2 weeks before I could lay my hands on one. Sounds like people are waking up a bit. Not sure who I talked to today, but the guy was way helpful with some questions I had.

There's a WAC gunshow at Monroe this weekend if you're in a hurry.  The next Puyallup one is December 8-9.

Ahhh Since I am military I can purchase stuff from Oly at wholesale prices. I'll wait, but thanks.

HA HA HA!

Well, if you're thinking that Olympic Arms will have a 2 week wait, guess again!

I was told that my stripped lower receiver ordered shortly after Sept 11 Attacks, was going to be just in time to miss the "backorder" status, and would be shipped at a normal time-frame.

Well, one week later (assuming normal shipping times), no lower.  Two weeks later, no lower, and the website changed to state that lowers would have a 4 week backorder.  Three weeks later, no lower.  Four weeks later, no lower and I'm scared shitless, I WANT MY LOWER!  Five weeks later, no lower.  Five weeks & 3 days, phone call from FFL, it arrived this past sunday night, I pick it up tomorrow.

I was a bit angry for the delay, as you can imagine.  I also didn't like how Olympic told me I would have gotten it much sooner!

IMHO, I think oly needs to buy a third CNC machine to put their money/production where their mouth is/was.
