| I am pro second ammendment as im sure 100% of the people on here are. I know the Second Amendment is to protect people from tyranny of goverment, but im curios what kind of oppression we could expect from a tyrannal government? I need some answers to help in my argument to anti second amendment people. |

The history books are full of examples.
How about starting with our nearest example, England. They took their guns a little at a time, and look at them now. If we would not of had firearms we we would the same as them. If we give them up, we will be the same as them, we may need them soon if the next few elections dont clean out these scum in DC. If they are ok with Tyranny Lite as the English subjects are then they will think nothing is wrong with gun control. |

Do you see what's going on in Iran right now? People fighting a repressive regime that rules everything they
can and cannot do. They are in the streets fighting with their fists and throwing rocks while being fired upon with automatic weapons. You've got to hand it to them for their courage and defiance. Going door to door, rounding people up, and gunning them down? Surrounding people in churches, locking them in, and setting them on fire? There is no end to the horrors visited on people by governments. Governments have such an outstanding record of murdering civilians they even have a special name for it... "genocide". In the 20th Century governments killed more people that criminals by a very, very large multiple. |
