You, Sir, are a true blue friend! I hope your Buddy appreciates it. He is a dam good mechanic and I made it clear that when I need some work done to one of my vehicles he better hook me up! He is a great guy and friend and I know he will return the favor. |

Can I ask what you used to clean the leather seats? They looked nasty in the before picture. Murphy's Oil soap to get the 1st few heavy layers of grease off and then Lexol leather cleaner to finish it up using a soft nail brush and hours of light circular scrubbing motion! LOL. |

what kind of vacuum do you use for the interior? I always see these pretty vacuum marks. The ones at the car was won't do it. ![]() A simple stainless steel Shop Vac canister vacuum. Works great but pet hair is a struggle for any vacuum. If it were not for the pet hair I would have been done in half the time. He said he will no longer let his dogs in the cab. |

You are a good man and a great friend, but.....
Please remember, No Good Deeds goes Un-punished, especially when the good deed is for a friend. I hope you get paid handsomely, and according to the hard labor you put into detailing the truck. PS: I would love to be your friend, so I can send my cars to you for detail...LoL |

How much did you charge him? What should you have charged? He gave me $200 which is about $6.00 an hour. He will return the favor one day when I need help with something. He is a mechanic and a really good one at that. He will hook me up for cheap too one day. When I was a professional with my own detail shop I charged $28 per hour. Today I would charge $35 per hour which is very reasonable for this kind of work today. Big jobs like this would get a discount of some sort but it would normally cost the owner many hundreds of dollars. Pays to just keep your cars clean. |

Close to the Denver tech center? Want to get the surface scratches out of my black truck?
Seriously though. I'm almost to Wyoming! Check out Elevations Auto Spa in Denver(Lakewood). Those guys are fantastic and do a lot of high end cars but will work anything. They can fix you up. |

Nice work! The minivan I bought used has some wet dog smell going on. What do you recommend for shampoo / method? Rent a Rug Doctor. They are industrial power and do a great job. Go over the carpets several times till no more dirt comes out. If you still have smell then follow up with an O-Zone machine. They use them to remove smoke smell out of cars interiors. You can rent them sometime or a good shop should have one. |
